What is the Wattage output for an Eagle 515 cb amplifier ?

This amplifier has 7 tubes in it. How much should this amplifier put out in Wattage. The measured amperage was roughly 11 amps . Does anyone know where this information can be found ? I want to know exactly where to find it, not hunt on the internet. I have looked all over the internet. Thank you

SOURCE: Pioneer 12v car amp rated at 1200 watts max requires ? amp fuse

Hi I would suggest 40A (i know guys will disagree) but you shouldnt be running at full 50A. Fuse are often rate at 50% - 75% of the actual consumption. By the way, 8 guage @40A will give you about a 2% drop at 5 feet. Maybe consider heavier for 40A?? Just a suggestion

SOURCE: Wattage for Kirby Sentria G10D

The conversion of Amps to Watts is governed by the equation
Watts = Amps x Volts

For example 1 amp @ 110 volts = 110 watts
your case 7 amp @ 120 volts = 840 watts
unless you are running it at 230v but I don't think you can
I would look for one rated for Volt-Amps instead of watts
It's best to round up to be safe add 40 - 60 watts

Does the Premium 7 w/o Dynaudio have an external amplifier, if so where is it?

You need to contact the dealer. But my guess is no, electronics are so small now that no external amplifier is required to attain the needed wattage output.

Output wattage of sony speaker system model ss-cfx250

Passive speakers don't have an output wattage rating, that would be applied to the amplifier :-) The INPUT wattage rating of these speakers is 5 watts RMS per speaker.

29 ltd weak on modulation

In the form of a question???? I am assuming you are hearing it on another radio or someone has told you it is quieter. A shorted coax is more likely wattage and range reduction. Proportionally reducing audio volume.......modulation. If you have only changed antenna it could be broken or could you have put the Teflon washer on the bottom of the mount rather than insulating the antenna from the mount during installation. That would result in a direct ground. Thank for reading my blither.....take care.

I NEED TO WHERE TO TURN UP THE RECEIVE IN MY 89XRL COBRA BASE STATION.

Hi Ralph, what do you mean "turn up the receive" ? You can not increase the wattage output without changing internal components. To increase RF gain and max performance you can upgrade your antenna and tune the SWR to 1:1 to 1. Other than that, a power microphone & bi-linear amplifier are the only ways to make it more powerful.

I bought a used connex 4300hp. i had it "so

IT could??? peak power, 14-15volts yeah.. the 4300 should put out 80w by itself.. as long as you have a low deadkey ie 1-5watts it should be fine. just don't put high wattage into an amp like that.. it will get hot QUICKLY.!!.. make sure your swr's are low low low.. 1.7:1 or lower... so your not getting reflected power... i would put a wattmeter with swrmeter like a mfj. or vectronic cross needle meter inline just to monitor it.... they go for $75 @ most places. Good investment... call email if need more help

Tunring up a cobra 150 gtl/dx

Um... What?? This is hooked to a switch? CB radio by FCC regulations is only supposed to have a max of 4 watts total output. If you can flip it to 7 watts dead key, you are doing really good. It won't do much more then that. It sounds like its set up to run on a linear amplifier, which cannot have more then 3 watts dead key transmitting into it.

Dead key, and modulation are different. You may have a meter that only reads dead key, and won't see the modulation. This radio is probably swinging close to 15-20 watts. you need a meter that can read PEP, Peak envelope power. Cheap meters only read AVG, or average power, witch will only show your dead key.

7 watts dead key is really good for that radio.especially since stock only has 4 watts. you cannot get any higher then that without changing finals.

at 3 watt dead key, or 7 watt dead key, your modulation wattage is still swinging much higher.

Also, you will get more swing with a lower dead key any way, which is better if you want it to be loud.

Leave it alone. its probably set just right.
