I have a stove top percolator. Can I use it on a propane stove as long as I'm careful not to melt the handle on a camping trip? It's a white pot with a chrome top and black plastic handle.

Depends... Check with the Owners book if its designed for electric stovetop only or both gas and electric. AGs tops will disperse more heat around the sides of the pot. It may or may not damage the plastic handle and it may discolour the white finish. If you cant find the info, it will be a risk you have to take. Try it and keep an eye on it while its percolating to see if the plastic is getting too hot or the white is starting to discolour.

SOURCE: coleman instastart propane stove regulator wanted

Check to see if Coleman has an attachment to replace the regulator, so that you can use a five gallon cylinder with your stove and your own regulator.

SOURCE: Need plastic handle on Rival Crockpot lid.

For what it's worth, when the handle on my mother-in-law's crockpot broke, I went to Home Depot and bought a cheap wooden drawer knob (about $1 as I recall). I put a plastic washer between the knob and the glass and another under the screw head from the bottom (to prevent cracking the lid), tightened the screw and good as new.

SOURCE: Need plastic handle on Rival Crockpot lid.

I looked this model up on the Rival website, and it had been recalled, so I have followed the directions to send in the plug for a new unit. According to others with similar issues, once they sent in the plug, they were sent an entire new crock pot, including the crock and lid. I am hoping that they do send me an entire new unit, however, if not, at least I will have a different model number and could order a lid for that model. I will never buy another Rival product, based on their poor customer service. Thanks for your help!!

413e coleman stove

Is there a reason or a need? I cannot imagine why you would want to, except as a point of interest for your camp kitchen. A new propane stove would work better and not cost all that much, relative to the work and cost of putting fittings, pipes and burners into the old stove box.
