these are hard to do. it needs to bend the tabs and pull out staples,then remove links and bend back, these are a pain in the ****. can be done by experanced guy. i can do them 10-15 dollars
mcdevito75 here, Rado a great watch and with a $50.00 band, at least. BEST BET, look for a small watch repair shop in your area for this band adjustment. Links are held in by special pins and a link remover tool is need to remove these links.
mcdevito75 here, You"d need a tool called a Link reover to remove the links, available on ebay, however by the time you order the tool, recieve it, etc. The cost will be about the same if you look for a small watch repair shop in your area, have them remove the links. Hold onto these links in case ypou want them re--installed.
mcdevito75 here, Best bet since you would need a couple of tools to adjust the band size is to look for a small watch repair shop in your area to save on the cost, the cost of a shop to adjust the band is about the same as the tools needed, since these adjustments are in frequent let the watch repiar shop do the job.
The segments of your bracelet are held together with friction pins which have to be removed first in order to adjust it. This is a relatively complicated task requiring experience and a special tool to remove and return the pins and bushings back correctly without compromising the bracelet strength. I recommend taking your watch to an Omega authorised dealer for adjustment while you wait.
Not all watch bands are adjustable. If yours is, you will see the links are connected with tiny pins. Any store that sells watches will have the tool to remove links. Some watches require a special tool, those need to be adjusted at a store that sells that brand.
