SOURCE: It wont play CDs

the cds you put in there are not compatible to the player.if it had been playing the same cds then it is time to take your set to a tech for repair it can be your memory chip or your lens.good luck.

SOURCE: Cd tray wont close, cds wont play

Sounds like you probably have a stretched belt on the load motor. Unplug the unit and remove the case which will expose the load motor. Plug in and turn on and press tray in button. You should hear the motor run and if you can see the belt you should see it slipping. Some belts are easy to change, and some are next to impossible. If you have to disassemble anything be sure that you note the position of everything as the timing of the tray, door, laser and most items in the unit is very critical. Let me know if you need more help.

SOURCE: cassette player doesnt play or record, ff or

Hi.
If you hear a faint whirring sound from the cassette player while performing these functions, the motor is fine, but you require a new drive belt/s that need to be fitted at an electronics shop. If you hear not sound at all, the motor has died (possibly belts too), again it will require and electrinics repair shop visit.
For the sake of repairing it, it maybe cheaper to buy a new one.

Internal electronics failure. Whenever this issue rears its ugly head, we replaced the entire unit as no repair facilities are available.

I have a Memorex 9200M am/fm stereo ,double cassette turntable and 3 cd changer and it will no turn on, I've only used it 8 or 9 times. How or can I fix it ?

If you bought this new, I strongly suggest taking it back. There are no servicable parts inside and taking it apart will void warranty

I have tried to record from Tape to CD with No result. I have followed the instructions for this task, to the letter and still nothing on CD.

Hi,
First make sure yoou are using correct cds. You need CDR Audio discs not blank pc media type (Yes they are different). Once you have the disc type right, make sure you are finalizing the disc as they will not play in other machines until u do this

I have a memorex stereo, turntable, 3 cd changer etc. The standby light comes on but no sound, it is only 2 yrs old..

Sometimes you have to unplug it for about 30 seconds, then when you plug it in press the power on button. If there is still no sound, check the speaker connections on the back they sometimes come loose.
