All the other electric units still work in the bathroom where this is plugged in.
I don't know. be careful with electricity. if possible, try running normal washer load along with your dryer but with [no heat] 'cold air only' to see if they will keep running.
if they run OK, consider shutting off both washer and dryer. shut off main electrical panel and change fuses for both washer and dryer. turn hydro on and run both again
with your normal settings. if they fail again please call for repairs. my dryer would not run and although everything looked and tested out OK, i had to replace a small 6x8"
electrical box having 2 only 30 amp screw in fuses.
then it ran OK.

Hi,
The compressor has locked up and will not start...this is terminal and will cost more to replace it then the unit is worth...
unfortunately you will have to replace the unit with a new one...

SOURCE: Does the Fan on a Haier HD456E always run,
I believe the fan is designed to run all the time, and no, it costs very little to run an 18w fan. You can use a timed socket, or switch it on and off when needed. I don't believe the Haier has specific switching times.
SOURCE: blown fuse
Does the unit sound normal? Does it appear to be getting warm? More than likely the compressor is locked up and it is drawing locked rotor amperage which is high and will trip a breaker or blow a fuse.
So I just had this happen with my Frigidaire fad704dwd dehumidifier. I went to basement and heard it running and sounded off. The compressor was running fan was off which is bad and humidity said 30. I then pushed the off button and it stayed running. I was able to fix it. To make long story short it was a bad ground. I took the plastic back, sides, and front off. There was a green ground (main ground) and Green/yellow ground (fan ground) on the front coil with a bunch of rust. Removed the grounds connected them both together and cleaned the surface area and used a new stainless screw nut and screw to remount the wires to evaporator coil. Everything started working fine after that and I put it back together. Good Luck
Hi lynn crisp, thanks for your post!
From my understanding you are having a challenging time with your Frigidaire dehumidifier shutting too quickly. It sounds like a possible problem with your sensor or control panel. Are you currently under warranty? I would contact your manufacturer for assistance to a proper resolution. -Matt
