Found Aptoide and used it successfully to download a couple of apps and also update a couple of apps. used aptoide to update a golf game app and instead of updating the app it overwrote it so now I have a latest version app but without any of my data or status. I am mad because it took a long time to get there. Can I somehow revert it back to the previous version or otherwise recover my old game? Help. From the answers I got I think the point was missed. The download issue will more than likely involve a reset because I have tried everything already except for that. I want to know if there is a way to recover or find "previous version" on the zte overture 3 so I can then just update it and not have it be overwritten. Thanks to all who have given advice. I do appreciate it.

Mabee the hard drive has failed . try entering bios and see if the hard drive is recognised .If not try turning the computer off unplug it then reconnect the drive data cable and power cable
then re- start the computer and see if it is recognised. some models of older hard drives needed a driver installed during set up -- you usually have to put the driver on a floppy disc and hit the f6 button when prompted by windows set up to install third party drivers . I hope this helps

Just make sure with the play store settings, whether you have sign in with your G mail account or not. If no just sign in and try else register as a new user and try. If found still there were an error. Just try to restore the tablet. If you again found the same error then, shutdown the tablet and press power + volume up button up to 15 seconds, so that you will get restore option there and restore through that. Definitely it will work for you.
