Hi David, I'm sorry to tell you that your TV does not have any audio, analog or digital output, except that you can take audio from one of the HDMI cables, through an HDMI to digital audio and fiber optic converter and there you have it than using an optical fiber cable with a Toslink connector on one end and an optical 3.5 miniplug on the other
Search on the internet, HDMI to SPDIF Digital Audio Converter and Optical Fiber
I send you as an example, a link to the product found in a store in my country, Argentina
you can easily find something similar
I hope you can hear the sound of your LG TV in your sound system
Greetings Franco Dosil

Saludos Franco Dosil

SOURCE: tv speakers

Sounds like you have a home theatre system, and you need to run rca cables from audio out of the tv to audio in on the amp, and turn the speakers off in the tv menu and set audio out to fixed or turn tv volume up all the way to get enough audio siginal.

SOURCE: speaker interference

you should be able to disconnect the analog audio cables from the cable box and Denon, with the HDMI connected, press the input mode button on the front left of the reciever to select auto and that should fix the issue

SOURCE: Speakers no longer work when front panel audio cable connected.

Thats the point of the jumpers. They need to be connected to make the connection so the rear is disabled when you plug things in. Here is where your jumpers should be placed:

Basicly every other bank needs a jumper.

SOURCE: LG 47 External Audio Control

The issue is not the receiver, it is the TV. The output from the LG is a FIXED output not a variable one. There may be a menu option to change that in the TV, but I'm not sure. Many people turn off the TV speakers when using a stereo for sound. If the TV output was dependent upon the volume control of the TV, there would be no way to shut off the TV speakers.

Double check the rear of the set for a set of outputs labeled VARIABLE. Connecting the receiver to those would do as you wish.

I have a fairly new LG 43 inch TV Model # 43LJ5000-UB. It has no audio out jack anywhere. It also doesn't have an optical port either. The one USB connector is labeled input. The 4 RCA jacks are inputs

The TV likely does not have an internal amp or output circuit so no audio out connector. Check owner manual on line if it has one it may not be in an obvious place

Cables to link LG Plasma with Panasonic around sound system

I would have to see the sound system you are hooking into. The way to get audio is to hook it direct from your cable/satellite box to the stereo. There is no need to go to the TV for audio.

Hi Richard,
Connecting the speakers tot he LG Tv is fairly simple.. Connect the audio cable from the speakers to the headphone jack on the TV. The headphone jack will be either on the left or right side of your TV depending upon the model number.

I'm attaching the user manual for the speakers for your reference

Want to connect pc speakers and subwoofer to lg37lc55 tv unfortunaly it doesnt have an earphone 3.5 connection point. My other smaller tv does, the speakers and subwoofer consist of a white and red audio...

Hello,
Your TV should have an AUDIO OUTPUT other than optic..at least " Headphones" output..
You can connect TV audio output with a RCA cable.
white and red audio jack....
since SUB has both RCA and "3,5mm Headphone female Jack"..here are the options;
** you need to buy a cable one end 3,5mm MALE headphone jack and the other end 2xRCA stereo (or 1x RCA for mono or you may need "Y cable " ) to be connected to your TV...
** or 2x RCA
white and red audio jack and connect from your TV..
**" "Headphones" output to SUB with 3,5 male-to-male cable ( the least recommended)
And you need to connect front, centre and rear speakers to your SUB as well...
Take care and if it succeeds please Remember to rate/vote and give me 4 Thumbs Up
for Helping out the Community :)

Hope this helps!

I have a 32" LG

Hello Undernet01,

Yes, it's very simple. Connect the computer speakers to the headphone socket on the TV, then run a separate audio cable from the PC to the TV. A PC monitor cable wont carry an audio signal so you need to connect an RCA type cable or similar - depending on whether you have corresponding audio OUT sockets on the PC and audio IN sockets on the TV.

You will then have sound from both the PS3, the PC, and the TV on the computer speakers. The TV speakers will automatically switch off when something is plugged into the headphone socket.

Simples as pies.

I can't get the TV sound to play on the HT speakers

Ensure that you have an audio connection to your LG theater system from the TV, that is labeled as "audio out" or similar to "variable out" to an audio input on the LG system. You may use a pair of RCA type cables or sometimes known as composite audio cables. Then on the LG system, select the input to use that you connected your audio cables from the TV into. Disable the TV speakers. Decrease volume on the LG system, then increase the volume on the TV all the way up. You now can use the LG system as the master volume for TV.

I want to connect 2 speakers(left and right) to lcd.how can i?

Hi,
Please follow the steps below:
Step 1: Connect the two RCA plugs on the Y adapter to the right and left Audio Out jacks on the back of the LCD TV.
Step 2: Insert the mini-plug on the cable attached to the right-channel PC speaker into the mini-plug jack on the Y adapter.
Step 3:Connect the mini-plug on the audio cable attached to the left-channel PC speaker to the mini-plug jack on the back of the right-channel speaker. This completes the PC speaker connections to each other and to the television. The TV sends an audio signal to the right PC speaker, which separates the signal and sends the left-channel stereo information to the other PC speaker.
Step 4:Connect the AC power plug to the back of the right-channel speaker and plug the other end into an electrical outlet.
Step 5:Switch on the speakers and the television to enjoy audio from both the TV's built-in speakers and the external pair of PC speakers.
