First I have to have the numbers to put in, in order to program it. Any one live in Missouri around Hermann area that knows the frequency numbers to program in?

It is a direct entry scanner so just enter manual and program then enter the frequencies you want. Press enter after each channel and press program again to advance to the next channel and repeat.

Testimonial: "thanks"

SOURCE: reception of vhf/uhf channels

You did not mention which set you have, so look for a small switch (usually on the back of the set) or go into the menu and set the TV to the "broadcast" or "tv" mode. If the set is in the "cable" mode, you will not get any UHF channels above 13.

SOURCE: have a pro 2020 realistic

The memory on the unit is not retaining the frequencies. Check for a small battery on the circuit board like a button battery you would find on your computer motherboard. Replace the battery and reprogram the unit.

Realistic uhf/vhf model 20-400 pro 58 ten channel. Where can I get an owner's manual?

Good Evening Pam

Radio shack has a listing of Scanner resources here:
Radio Shack Realistic Scanner Manuals The materials for the Pro 58 are here
http://support.radioshack.com/support_electronics/8570.htm and gives access to specs, parts list, features, and a guide to scanning. It's very mid-20th century in appearance, including using type-writer style fonts.

Hoping this helps!

Looking for a manual for a Realistic Patrolman Pro 40 UHF/VHF Scanner. I don't even know what kind of power supply it needs.. LOL

Hi, that unit looks to be a mobile scanner and if I'm seeing right then you would need a Base power supply that could supply 12volt to it. Course you could also use a computer power supply and find the 12 volt line out on it. Here is the link to some spec's for it. Looks also to be crystal controlled so it cannot be reprogrammed. Good luck.

Realistic pro 2020 scanner

The Realistic PRO-2052 is an old (vintage) scanner receiver with fixed AM and FM modes on the bands it cover, as specified by the U.S. band allocation. The PRO-2020 covers only the VHF and UHF frequencies and modes AM and FM is not user selectable. Frequencies can be programmed into any of the 20 memory channels

U.S. Coverage: (varies from state to state and other countries. We don't use 30-50 Mhz here in the Philippines for 2 way mobile communications, except for cordless phones)

30-50 Mhz Lower VHF at FM narrowband only (covers mobile, emergencies, businesses, etc. and
cordless phones)
108-136 Mhz Aircraft band at AM narrowband only
138-174 Mhz Amateur and Commercial band at FM narrowband only (2 meter band)
410-512 MHz Amateur and Commercial band at FM narrowband only (70 cm band)

If you're trying to select AM or FM for a specified frequency, I'm afraid you can't do that as it is not selectable.

If you are trying to program AM Broadcast frequencies (mediumwave (MW) or FM Broadcast frequencies (FM radio stations), those were not covered by your PRO-2020's microprocessor. Even if you modify your scanner to receive those bands, you will not hear radio transmission properly since the receiver do not decode FM wideband, which is the standard mode for FM broadcast and Television band.

Looking To Buy A good scanner? Is The BCD396T The way to go?

A good scanner? Hmm... too many to list. But the #1 on my list is a Realistic PRO-2006 gapless frequency scanner. This scanner has no limitations to what it can scan. It scans HF/FM/AM/VHF/UHF/Air/TAC/Marine VHF/GMRS/CB/SSB/USB/LSB/WX. Hell, it even scans the FM and AM bands (the music bands). It's frequency range is up in the 1300 MHz range and is probably the only scanner you'll ever need. If it's too pricey, my second recommendation is a Regency MX4000. The Regency MX4000 is a good little scanner with a 950MHz range. It is not gapless however. It has 20 Memory channels and scans AM/FM/UHF/VHF/Air/Marine VHF/Mobile Phone/WX bands. It may be hard to find one because Regency went out of business a while back, but if you do find one, it may be worth your while.

Best Regards,
