Sounds like it has a build up of dust. They need to be blown out with air from time to time

We have an Atlas Copco GA37-125 AP oil-injected 50 hp rotary screw compressor. When it gets hot outside it shuts down.

Question edited for clarity, maker name 'compco', and '(what it is)'.
Question moved from Atlas Refrigerators, to a Compressor category.

It is a well known issue. Details in the link.

Baumr ag User Manual Needed

http://baumr-ag.com.au/where-buy-baumr-ag
  • There should if available for your model type a maintenance kit neccesary for your model or all the used o-rings and sometimes special tools because there are special buna-n or nbr o-rings used sometimes braun or green colored on some parts and gaskets, seals and rings used and allways if your tool is leaking then replace the impact bold in front of the spindle if you have find the right drawing for your model type
  • The right lubrication is very important in combination of the o-rings because of the heat building release by rotating and hammering and a leaking tool has oft made all o-rings hardenet because of the failed pneumatic working loose of lubrication dried out principal it becomes very dry internal on some places and much to hot .

Where is the oil resevoir on the bosch 11241evs

There is no oil reservoir - the gearcase is what holds the oil. You should not have to add oil - if the tool is leaking and becomes low on oil it needs a service kit. Service Pack 1617000430 for Bosch Power Tool eReplacement Parts As you can see this is an involved repair and I would strongly suggest letting a trained tech do this one.

After running for a few hours it gets hot and shuts down but runs fine every morning

Without more info I will have to give you several things to look at. Typically during the hot months rotary units experience temperature shut downs due to the following. Dirty oil coolers. Blowing them out with air my help some but ideally they need to be washed using a degreaser solution. Location. during the hot months poor air flow/ air removal may let heat from the compressor build up in or under the cover or room. This hot air gets drawn in by the compressor and raises the compressor temperature. The cycle continues until the compressor shuts down on high air temp. Maintenance. Poor maintenance on rotary screw compressors leads to shut downs on high temp, high air temps then play havoc on dryers which causes moisture in the air system. Maintenance items that need replacing regularly ( about 2000 hrs) oil filter, air filter, Depending on type of oil used change 2000 to 8000 hrs, seperator @ 8000 hrs. Also the amont element will cause high temps if bad. It is located where the three oil lines come together. There should be 4 screws that hold the cover on. the cover also has a hose connected to it and located close to the oil cooler. This amont element acts like the thermostat in your car. it lets oil bypass the oil cooler or causes more oil to go thru the cooler. the cooler oil and bypass oil mixes and maintains a certain temp. air end temp should run about 195 F and injected temp about 165 F. hope this helps. if you can give more detailed info I can get you closer to your problem.

I don't know how to change the bit on my dremel multipro rotary tool . . .I keep turning the gizmo but don't see anything getting smaller or lager.

Push the pin on the side next to the tip and hold it while Your wrench is turning the hex shaped piece around the bit that is what is holding your bit in. this should help as i am a proud owner of a Dremel. Hope this helps . if you have any further questions write back.

My Dremel lock nut won't budge. My collet is stuck! How can I loosen the bit?

You'll need to use either the built in shaft lock to hold the collet in a fixed position, or use a pair of slip joint pliers to hold the shaft of the bit, while you use the wrench to loosen the collet. Slow and steady should get it loose. Another option is use some penetrating oil sprayed lightly onto the back of the collet to help loosen it from the shaft etc.

Motor runs, collet doesn't turn

get a hot glue gun and go to your local hardware store and buy a piece of tubing to fit the collet shaft fill with hot glue and press it on the shaft.
