Hi,

it looks something went wrong with the program.

I will suggest to make a hard reset to the unit.

if its not helping - maybe you will need to reprogram the unit,
regards,

Daniel

SOURCE: VHF transmit power

Hi, It is not typical but neither is there a problem with the radio. Transmit Power output is loosely dependent on the: 1. Frequency or channel you are transmitting. Normally, Marine Band VHF are calibrated for max (25 in your radio) at Ch16 or 156.800Mhz; 2. If the SWR of the antenna is not a flat 1.0, power tends to go down; 3. After some time, the TX side of the radio needs to be re-calibrated; 4. Power Supply - some radios will push max output only when powered with 13.8 and tends to go down when used with 12 volts. Hope this be of some help/idea. Post back should you need additional information. Good luck and kind regards.

SOURCE: Channel stuck on TV

This may work;

Access the service menu by pressing, in order, whilst the tv is in stand-by mode:

info
menu
mute
power

when the tv comes back on you will have a service menu; select option 12 (reset) the tv will then switch off.

this will reset your TV back to factory defaults.

turn tv back on and you should be prompted to go through the plug and play setup again - go through everything and then all should start working OK (it did for me)

There are several avenues for you. 1. do a serch on ebay for the battery. 2. try your local two-way dealer or 3. go to Unidens web site.

SOURCE: TV stuck on one channel

Remove batteries from remote, and test again the touch buttons on TV with remote batteries out. This to exclude the possibility that remote has a stuck button.

If the problem persists , then it is probably a faulty IR board on TV (the one that gets IR signal from remote), or a faulty touch button switch.

I e a bearcat uniden handheld scanner BC75XLT all set and scanning but every few seconds a sound comes on and says found I didn't c this in the manuel whats wrong

Hi, try going thru every channel in manual and see if any of them 'stay on'? Next, make sure that you haven't pushed the 'Priority' as that will go to that channel every second or two. Next, increase the squelch a bit so that you don't get a sudden burst of noise. and last but not least, keep this away from a wired Ethernet cable- putting mine by a CAT5 cable causes it to stop on two VHF channels. Good luck and let me know how it goes for you.

How to enter codes on uniden bc60xlt handheld?

Hi, first, you can only listen to analog radios on this scanner, so if you local or state public servants went to digital, you are out of luck. You can still receive National Weather Service, most railroads, ham radio operators and any small town police and fire that have remained on analog VHF and UHF. Do a Google search and you can get the instruction book for the radio. As far as channels, search for Radio Reference dot com and search for your state and county. That will list the channels to enter into your radio. Good luck and have fun.

From the owners manual (Page 4, link below) Press both HI/LO/SCAN/UIC and WX/ALERT/UIC at the same time to change channel modes from USA to INTERNATIONAL to CANADIAN.

W do I turn off squelch control on a digitech DC-1065 marine radio hand held 5 Watt

Hi David,

Before I try to give advice, I need more info.

I possess a Digitech DC1065 UHF 80 Channel CB hand held, so there seems to be some confusion here.

I live near Perth, Western Australia.

Firstly, How many channels does your radio have?

If the answer is 80, then what you have is a UHF CB, not a marine band radio.

Marine band is VHF with 87 Channels, in Australia that is, and the default channel is always 16.

Digitech are an Australian radio manufacturer, so you'll get great backup service.

If your radio is not defaulting to Ch16, then I am right about it being a UHF CB.

Therefore, it is useless for VHF anything, let alone Marine band.

I'm almost 100% sure this is a UHF CB in your possession.

Try this to prove me right please.

Reply to me with your Country and nearest city, I'll then be able to find a solution for you real quick, though I believe I already have.

Looking forward to your response.

Regards,
Peter

I have a uniden bearcat bc145xl 16 channel scanning radio, every time I push the manual button, and try to put in a code I can't get all the frequency numbers put in. I don't know what I am doing w

When you press the manual button and then enter numbers it thinks you are entering channel numbers not frequencies.
Try manual button and then prog button.
Then enter the frequencies.
Hope this helps

My UH043SX-2 seems to be stuck on RX, I can talk on it but not hear an answer.

We have 6 of them all with the same problem. Uniden says to turn off holding down the mon and scn buttons. Then hold down the mon and scn buttons together for 20 secs. Then turn on holding down the mon and scn buttons at the same time. Then turn off and turn on again. This should clear the problem. It didn't for me so I threw them away and bought some more. I think that would have been easier than all the other stuff!
