SOURCE: aux cable snapped of inside external Audio port (AUX)

I have a 2007 CRV which had the same issue. I fixed this by:
- first removing the AUX port cover by carefully prying it up from both the rear-facing and front-facing edges. Once done, this exposes the AUX port mechanism itself.
- Using some needlenose plyers, I pulled out the AUX port component. It simply slides out.
- The trick now is to PUSH the broken piece out of the inside of the port. To do this, I first removed the "cover" that is covering the end of the port (opposite from the opening to the port). Be very careful with this step as you don't want to break the cover. It's very thin plastic.
- Once this cover is removed, I used a pin to push the piece that was lodged inside back out of the opening.
Reassembly was the opposite of this and was quick.
Hope that helps.
- Dave

Got an ONN TV and an ONN soundbar. Hooked up via RCA cable. TV audio in PCM mode. Soundbar in AUX mode. Can't get any sound from soundbar. What have I missed?

PCM mode is a digital audio file that should be sent to the soundbar via an optical or coaxial digital audio cable. The coaxial digital audio cable uses an RCA plug but not the L/R stereo channels of analog audio. The aux input is usually the 3.5 MM cable from a computer, CD or MP3 player or a cell phone or tablet.

First, which type of RCA cable is connected between the sound bar and the TV? Second, are you sure that the TV connection is an audio out? (A number of recent TVs have only one audio output. This means there is only the optical audio out and not even a headphone jack.)

Once you double-check the input at the sound bar, choose the Line In input if you are using the stereo RCA cable. If you are using the Optical input, select that input. Use either the Mode button or the specific input button on the remote. Then double-check that the TV is set for the appropriate audio out.

I hope this helps. Please add a comment with the model of the TV and the sound bar for further information. I looked at the ONB18SB001 documentation for some of this. The manual for this Onn soundbar is available at Manuals Lib. See https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1498038/Onn-Onb18sb001.html?page=12#manual for the list of input modes and the input to which they correspond. Here is the image of the inputs on the back of the ONB18SB001: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1498038/Onn-Onb18sb001.html?page=7#manual .

I have a Panasonic SA-AK 67 Can any one tell how to connect it to my phone using aux cable

Hello Zubair, to connect your phone to the SA-AK 67, you need a cable that has two RCA connectors (White and Red) to a 3.5mm stereo jack
The RCA connectors, you connect them in the AUX input that is on the rear panel of the SA-AK67 and the 3.5mm stereo jack, in the headphone output of your phone
You select Aux on the Panasonic, you play something on your cell phone and you're done
I hope you find the information useful
Greetings Franco Dosil

I want to connect my XL-DK255 to my TV (Sanyo DP26671). Please help!!!!

http://www.manualowl.com/m/Sanyo/DP26671/Manual/211922
the only way to connect them is audio ...and you can either connect the Tv to the system ..(for better sound ) ..and in this case use the rca (left /right ) to rca (left right ) on the sharp ..if it supports..or ..use a double rca stereo cable ..with a jack 3.5 end ..and insert it in the audio input of teh sharp system ..
The signal from the Tv it will have to be taken from the audio out like in th epage 13 of the manual ..(it has a mono exit ..on rca probably ) and a left and right stereo one ..
If the sharp supports rca stereo in ...use it ..or ...just use the jack (3,5 stereo ) in ...and do not forget to select the proper channel ..
if the sharp system has a TV input channel for sound..on the receiver..use it ..and select the TV to playback the sound ..if it do not ..use the aux.. and selct the aux for control it ..
I do not believe you need to connect it in the other way cause it is not make any sense ..but the procedure is the same ..get audio signal from the system and insert into the audio in of the TV ..it is in the same place and also available mono and stereo ..You will have to select the input in the tv menu..
The cable you need for a stereo connection I think will look like thi s..

I just got a multimedia surround system with subwoofer.Spa7650/05, 180w.The subwoofer has three audio connections, front, centre and rear,My tv only has an audio coaxial.I can't connect it.What adapter...

Hello,
Firs of all lets get agree on something..The subwoofer has three audio connections for "output " to :front, centre and rear speakers...these are not for "input"..Your powered SUB provides necessary signal for other spekers..
You can connect TV audio coaxial to SUB input with a RCA cable.....if your SUB does not have "RCA input " probably it should have "3,5mm Haedphone female Jack"..
if this is the case you need to buy a cable ; one end 3,5mm MALE headphone jack and the other end 2xRCA stereo (or 1x RCA for mono or you may need "Y cable " ) to be connected to your TV...
And you need to connect front, centre and rear speakers to your SUB as well...
Take care and if it succeeds please Remember to rate/vote and give me 4 Thumbs Up

Want to connect pc speakers and subwoofer to lg37lc55 tv unfortunaly it doesnt have an earphone 3.5 connection point. My other smaller tv does, the speakers and subwoofer consist of a white and red audio...

Hello,
Your TV should have an AUDIO OUTPUT other than optic..at least " Headphones" output..
You can connect TV audio output with a RCA cable.
white and red audio jack....
since SUB has both RCA and "3,5mm Headphone female Jack"..here are the options;
** you need to buy a cable one end 3,5mm MALE headphone jack and the other end 2xRCA stereo (or 1x RCA for mono or you may need "Y cable " ) to be connected to your TV...
** or 2x RCA
white and red audio jack and connect from your TV..
**" "Headphones" output to SUB with 3,5 male-to-male cable ( the least recommended)
And you need to connect front, centre and rear speakers to your SUB as well...
Take care and if it succeeds please Remember to rate/vote and give me 4 Thumbs Up

How do I hook up my ipod to my pioneer vsx d409 ?

The best way is to use a 3,5mm stereo jack to 2 RCA cable like this:
technical114_34.jpg
You can easily find one like this at your local audio/electronics shop or buy one on line. You have to connect the RCA at any free stereo input at the back of your Pioneer (like aux or cd). Take a look at this picture:
technical114_35.jpg
After this you can use the 3.5mm stereo jack for connecting not only your ipod but every mp3 player or other device has an earphone jack. Just plug the 3.5mm jack at the earphone jack and rise the volume at the portable device up to the middle of the volume range and set your Pioneer input selector at the stereo input that you connect the 2 RCA before (aux or cd)

In case of a problem or clarification or further details needed, don't hesitate to post me a reply before rejecting my answer.
If you are satisfied, rate my solution with the "thumbs" or (even better) add a testimonial.

Connecting aux send on Tscam 2488 to input of TC Voiceworks

A 1/4 inch short instrument (mono) cable between the AUX unbalanced 2488 and the 1/4 inch of the Voiceworks should work. Operate ALL the equipment from the same power source to avoid ground loops.

You will lose 3 Db since you will only be driving one side of the balanced VW input, but there is plenty of gain. The sleeve of the mono into the VW will ground the - balanced input of the VW. The connection is absolutely safe. Should you encounter noise on the connection, use an isolation device like a DI and use ground lift with the 2488 into the mono jack of the DI and XLR out of DI into the VW. I think you will find this unecessary though in your use.
