The VIDBOX is seeming to work but the preview stopped. I Videos convert and record but It can't be previewed as it records. I dont know when to stop. What caused the preview to quit working?

The video players I have seem to be playing the videos correctly cables seem to be connected properly and haven't changed since it was working properly

Actually if you just change the .MOD endings to a .MPG it should work just try it on a file you have copied but keep the original intact. I also had the same problem with the JVC piece of junk I bought. This is what I found out on the net. It works but I don't know if there is and loss in the process

Going to the Pinnacle support part of their website in downloads and downloading the latest drivers for the relevant model number worked for me.

I have seen that before with Dazzle. See if there is an update to take care of that. I tossed that software package and went with Studio, which is much better - that is also a Pinnacle product.

I believe the setting you changed set the RECORD method, not playback. The video is recorded that way. There are some Video software out there that can rerecord a video at a slower pace, but do you want to spend the money? Try Ulead.com for a low cost program.

The v900 has some years on it. It will need the heads cleaned ,possible torque adjustment or replacement of the video drum unit. To clean it is only $40 at Larry's electronics [email protected]

Clean the head....with cleaner and q-tip..then use a demagnetizer...look on Amazon..the old radio shack had demagnetizers...
