How to fix cannon mf6530 no power error?

The main thermistor reading is lower than 140C when paper is moved
The fixing film unit is faulty (i.e., the main thermistor (TH1) has poor contact or has an open circuit; or, the fixing heater is faulty). The main power supply PCB is faulty. The DC controller PCB is faulty. Caution To clear the error, execute the following in service mode: COPIER>FUNCTION>CLEAR>ERR.
State Turn on the power switch, and clear E002/E003. Thereafter, turn off and then on the power switch. Does the fixing heater operate? NO: See "The fixing heater fails to operate." 2. Wiring Is the wiring from the DC controller PCB to the fixing film unit normal? NO: Correct the wiring. 3. Fixing film unit, DC controller PCB Try replacing the fixing film unit. Is the problem corrected? YES: End. NO: Replace the DC controller PCB

First clear that error from service mode. Press additional function
press 2 and 8 together
press additional function agian
service mode should appear in screen
select copier
select function
select "clear"
select "err"
select ok.
unplug power cord for a few seconds and restart the machine
try to make some copies if problem persist replace the fixing heater assembly

cannon only take cannon tapes sony and cannon never shared there tape size. you can only use cannon dv disc

from the left side of copier you have an door, open the door and remove it.

Its an laser shuter problems, you can say its factory error, if its under varanty call service to fix it

• Unplug machine.
• Press 1, then 9.
• Plug machine back in.
• Press 1, then 9 (again).

Machine should then initialize and be ready for service.

make sure the the driver for your cannon copier is vista compatible or support vista. if not call cannon and ask for the right driver
