Does deleting text messages save space or anything
If you mean on the messages up that store messages on your phone and not on a server like Facebook's messenger does, then yes it does save space but it's such a small amount that it really doesn't matter, you can delete like 50 messages to save enough space for 2 medium quality pictures, get a SD card and expand your storage or buy a phone with a large ROOM meaning it's internal storage is big, i recently got the Honor 8x, cost about 200$ and it's pretty much the same as owning a 800$+ phone, i recommend that, i hope i helped, good day.

When first turned on, select "messages." then down arrow to inbox or outbox. Select choice. For outbox, down arrow to SENT. Select. Hit the center button. scroll down twice to delete the one message. Scroll down once more to delete ALL messages from the sent outbox. Confirm and out they go!
Now, does anybody know how to email text messages so they can be saved?

Go to your inbox...go to a message and select ok to read it....press the button that is right above the call/answer button (the green one)....the button that is the 2nd one down from the left...you should see your options to delete somewhere there....

Click on messaging icon from main menu.
Click send message.
Instead of clicking text message click on pic/video message.
then you have 4 options TO: CONTACTS , TO Mobile#, To Email, And finally To Recent lict. Click on recent list and checkmark all the numbers you want deleted then click options bottom right corner then click delete.....

You could use a master reset code. But make sure you save all your things like photos/music onto a memory card and your contacts onto your sim otherwise you may lose them. The code is *2767*3855#
