Probably low on freon. You may need to have a tech come and recharge it. This type of ac generally do not have a charge port.

SOURCE: won't get cold anymore

Good thinking... you need to hire a service technician (a good one!). Too many jackasses think they know these systems. Obviously, there's something wrong with the system.. if so, you need someone who knows what they're working on/with.

There are a variety of probable causes of your AC's failure to blow cool air. Unfortunately, it is difficult to diagnose your situation without being there. However, I have a great, handy diagnostic article that specifies the main problems so that you can definitely come to find the cause applicable to your AC's failure. I'm not too familiar with RV AC's and how they may differe a bit from house AC's, but your AC very well may need a recharge of refrigerant/Freon by a technician, but short of that, try this first:

This should defintely help.
Good luck!

The compressor coming on does make a slight "humming" sound which is normal. Is the unit cooling properly? Do you think it is louder than before?

SOURCE: Have dometic three way fridge in pop up truck

Find thermistor/thermostat that is usually attached by plastic holder at back on one of the fins in fridge compartment. Pull it off, and move it over to left 2 fins, then give 24-48 hrs and see if any change.

Have a 93 airstream camper with a Dometic AC unit . When I tuun the unit on either to heat or air,it brings the house voltage down to the red zone but does come on but seems to be draining the power.

Does the fan seem to labor when starting up. (basically starts up but seems slow to get up to speed?) Then when fan is turning at normal speed, the power inside seems to go back to normal?

My dometic RV rooftop air conditioner is leaking on the inside of the camper even after I cleaned the water condensation drain on top of the roof. What could be causing this? The fan is blowing the water...

Remove all covers and look down with them removed and see if the coil drain pan has a stopped up exit where the water drains out and into the rear of the AC unit.

If the unit is off level it could cause a draining problem too.
