CD player doesn't work on Timex Indiglo Radio Sounds CD player. No manual available. Can't use.

I never have seen this model but guess it's similar to any other CD-Radio model. You can download a manual from here

It should have a switch to select CD player.
Once you select CD player, open CD lid, insert a CD and play
If won't play, CD player is defective and if you don't know how to repair it you should take it to a repair service and evaluate if it's worth to reapir.

My radio on the mc602 stopped working. The entire system still works except for the radio. any ideas?

sounds like a internal fuse look in your manual and see if it may have a heatsink switch that disables the radio if the heat levels get too high.

CD Player

The CD player is a separate system in the trunk. It is NOT an after market CD player.

When you switch from radio to cd player it just says player error and switches back to radio

REMOVE BATTERY CABLE FROM BATTERY AND PUT BATTERY CABLE BACK ON BATTERY. THIS RESETS CD PLAYER.
