Here are the steps to remove the door cover from the door of your LG Microwave model LMHM2017ST:
Unplug the microwave from the power source.
Open the microwave door and locate the four screws on the inner edge of the door.
Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the four screws.
Carefully separate the outer door panel from the inner door panel.
You will now see the door cover attached to the outer door panel.
Use a flathead screwdriver or plastic pry tool to gently pry the door cover off of the outer door panel. Start at one corner and work your way around the edge.
Once the door cover is removed, you can replace it with the brushed silver cover from the new door.
To reassemble the door, simply snap the new cover onto the outer door panel and then reattach the outer door panel to the inner door panel using the four screws you removed earlier.
Make sure to be careful when removing the door cover, as it can be fragile and may break if handled roughly.
You would need to disconnect the oven from the mains supply and remove the metal cover.
The line fuse holder will be seen once you have the cover removed.
Check the fuse continuity with Multimeter, replace if blown.

On my GE, if you open the door, there are screws to remove that will allow the cover to be removed. When it quit working, I had to show the guy how to remove it. He thought he had to take it all the way down. Turned out to be the fuse (which I could not see when I had it opened) so he charged me half the cost to come out because I had to show him how to open it
disconnect from power, then remove the cover and test the fuse and the grounding diode for failure then replace but if still not heating then replace the magnetron.
see the troubleshooting section and follow the steps and fix it. God bless you
Waveguide Cover
If the microwave is sparking or arcing the
waveguide cover might be damaged and shorting out. Try removing the
waveguide cover and see if the problem goes away. If there are any
damaged spots in the microwave ceiling or sidewalls, repair them and
paint them with microwave oven paint. Replace the waveguide cover if it
is burnt or if it will not stay in place.
Microwave Oven Paint
If the microwave is sparking or arcing on the
side walls the paint might have chipped causing pitting in the metal
oven wall. Use microwave safe paint to touch up any bare metal spots.
Rack Support
If the microwave is sparking or arcing near
one of the rack supports, remove the support, repaint any bare metal,
install a new support.
The oven lamp is accessible when the whole outside cover of the oven is removed. The lamps these days are a special bulb and would be available from a TV repair place or a appliance repair centre.Take the old lamp in with you to pbtain the correct part.
yes it s a large ceramic fuse and you have to remove the outer cover to access this. it will be on the top of the M/wave frame either front L or front right. Cost is about $40.00
You can see and hear a YouTube video of how a turntable motor should sound when you rotate it by hand.
If yours won't rotate or it sounds like it's grinding, etc., you may have a bad motor or plastic coupler.
To replace either, you need to unplug power, then remove the bottom cover of the oven. You may have to cut the cover off with snips, then use a screw when reassembling it.
