Have a sharp xe-202 which came up with some error code which my work colleague pressed clear before i could see what it said. now we have an amount on the register of at least $20000 over.

Can I see each transaction list or something??????

Hi. turn key to OPX/Z mode. Press the receipt button. Turn back to REG mode. Now when you want to issue a receipt, press the receipt button.

Hi Wellsey,
The error "E34" means there is on overflow limitation error.
This means that the amount tendered is greater than how the machine is set-up to accept.
Try entering a smaller amount pressing TL/NS then enter the balance given or even break the amount up to three or four entries, the machine will show the outstanding amount to pay each time and deduct each entry from that balance.
Having done that and finalising the transaction you will then need to do the following to prevent this from happening again.
Refer to page 46 of your operators manual and set the parameters of job67 to those that suit the country that you are in.

H means head up. It is telling you to click the paper holder back down after replacing the roll. You must always press clear and it should feed a small amount of paper when the new roll is inserted. this is built in to the program.

Sharp XE-A203

Hi.
The XE-A203 does not use error numbers. It should tell you what is wrong in words. The 202 does use numbers. An error 2 on a 202 model just means you pressed the wrong buttons.
Can you please check the model number on the machine and make sure it is a 203? Also, does it do it as soon as you turn the key to REG? What happens if you try the key in other modes?
Please try to give me as much info as you can, and we can try to sort it out.
