Fire fyter safe are they suppose to have 3 wheels for the combo or two
3 plastic wheels if you have the combination then setting a new one isn't bad.
Lay out wheels as you remove them noting each number on the wheel where you see a line indexing that wheel.
The inner wheel pops out from the outter allowing it to be changed.
Side note the last wheel should never be within the drop point.
So use 30-80 on the wheel as a precaution.
Also TRY TRY TRY it in the open and unlocked postion BEFORE closing the door and locking it!!!!!!!!!
Other optiin: local locksmith should be able to change it for you.
SOURCE: my brother was killed on tuesday his wife can not open his safe
would have to go to a locksmith that deals with safes
SOURCE: I have a Sentry S3467
I realize this is not much of a solution but your best bet would probably be to at least ask a local locksmith or contact Sentry.A local locksmith will probably give you an opinion for free at least, but depending on the safe, their repair may be almost as much as a new safe.I would say probably minimum $40-$60 just for the house visit.Labor @ $30-$50/hour.Parts which any repair center will markup 20% minimum.Maybe just see what they want to do,costs associated with it etc.,then call Sentry or just skip the middleman. Here is the link to Sentry.
