Hi again on most rascal scooters u have to remove the seat pull the lever that lets u swing the seat & lift it up the rear cover should lift of most r held on with Velcro .good luck. u know make & model of you're scooter ..,cheers

Hi, To get to the head light bulb you need to take the tiller head apart by removing the screws that go up from the bottom. The top will lift off but be careful not to pull any wires off. This will give you access to the lamp at the front. Make sure you replace the bulb with the same type and voltage.

hi, firstly what controller is fitted (curtis) ? then i can give you a ideal controller wiring schematic but you won't get hold of a Rascal one..

The Rascal 600/300, remove the seat, lift off the cover, unplug a battery, replace the old battery with a new one, putting the cable connections on the same way, red is +, black is -. Do the same with the next battery, reconnect the anderson plugs,reinstall the cover and seat and plug in the charger with the key on watch to see the needle raises up toward the full mark, allow to charge fully, overnight is good. keep the bats charged up not allowing them to drop below half way for the first 20 charges to break in the batteries. as a rule charge the scooter after every use!

hi, to bypass the key switch by removing the tiller cover, that is the cover in with the key lock is attached to.

Then all you need to do is short the pins and watch the scooter light up. how ever if there are more than two pins, take the black wire on and short that either to one of the others, do this with care not to touch any other wires within the control panel.

most rascal 235 and 245 scooters come equiped with power seat height control. you turn the key to the left and then the throttle lever becomes the seat height controller. the seat motor is ditectly uuder front of seat post. if it will not run follow wires to see that they are plugged up good.
