SOURCE: My printer jammed when I tried to print a Tshirt transfer.

Most Tshirt transfer paper is fairly thick you could try a different brand and double check that you are printing on the transfer paper not the thin separtion sheets used to stop the paper sticking together.

SOURCE: Using a C3100 series HP inkjet printer, I'm trying

The steps vary by printer. I've got a c7280 installed and the options for me are to click Print > Preferences > Advanced > Mirror image. When you click on Mirror image, you change it from 'off' to 'on'. Click OK to save the setting and print. Be sure to change it back after you're done printing your transfers.
I am an HP employee. I do not represent HP on this site.

SOURCE: We have PIXMA iP2600 which

It's unfortunate that Canon don't provide separate Paper Feed Cleaner/Cleaning kit as HP do. Well, actually you can perform the Paper Feed cleaning from your printer itself. And of course, you can also perform it on the printer using a plain paper. Please follow this LINK, you'll find both the methods i.e. cleaning from the printer's menu and cleaning it manually. You'll also need something soft to wipe the feeder eg. cotton swap or an ear bud etc.. Don't use any cleaning materials eg. Acetone or Alcohol or oil, using so will create another problem. These cleaning methods are for Paper Feeder roller/s and the feeder.
Once everything is done, wipe the surface of the paper feeder with a lint free cloth and make sure it's cleaned and oil/dust free.
Sometimes if nothing is helpful and the type of paper being fed is very sensitive/fragile, we need to place additional paper below the paper but not as deep as the original is placed. In your case, after the transfer sheet is fed, put in another sheet of plain paper below it, but make sure it doesn't go deep inside, otherwise, the printer will pick up the additional paper instead of the transfer sheet. This is only just to help the transfer sheet slide in easier.
It's also very important to place the paper very carefully, so that the picker won't pick the paper with great force, instead to pick it up gently. You may also need to help it pulled in.
Let me know if you need further help.
Good Luck.
Thanks for using FixYa.

Samsung CPL-325 Print Problem

It sounds like the print quality issue you're experiencing with your Samsung CPL-325 printer may be caused by a few different factors. Here are some steps you can take to diagnose and resolve the problem:
  1. Check the toner cartridges: The first step is to check the toner cartridges to make sure they are not empty or low on toner. If they are, replace them with new cartridges. Additionally, make sure that the toner cartridges are installed properly.
  2. Check the drum unit: The drum unit is responsible for transferring toner to the paper during the printing process. If it is dirty or damaged, it can cause faded or streaky print quality. Try cleaning the drum unit with a soft, dry cloth or replace it if it appears damaged.
  3. Check the paper: Ensure that you are using the correct type of paper for the printer. Using paper that is too thick, too thin, or too glossy can cause print quality issues. Try using high-quality, recommended paper for your printer.
  4. Check the fuser unit: The fuser unit is responsible for fixing the toner to the paper. If it is dirty or damaged, it can cause print quality issues. Try cleaning the fuser unit with a soft, dry cloth or replace it if it appears damaged.
  5. Check the transfer roller: The transfer roller helps transfer toner from the drum unit to the paper. If it is dirty or damaged, it can cause print quality issues. Try cleaning the transfer roller with a soft, dry cloth or replace it if it appears damaged.
  6. Check the print driver settings: Make sure that the print driver settings are configured correctly for the type of paper and print quality you are using. Adjusting the print quality settings may help improve the print quality.

How do I print a mirror image from canon pixma MG5250 mirror image?

In the printer driver settings, where you can select the paper type, you have to choose "other paper" and select "T-Shirt Transfer".

I load the paper in the printer and try to print and it will not print. Have restarted several times, have done a system mechanic check and restarted and still will not print.

Lexmark 1240

during our call we found that you where using copier paper into a inkjet, yet this would work for a "time", then the damage sets in.

This would cause paper to be mis fed, paper jams, print head issues, ect.

I recommend using inkjet paper, you would need to clear any present jams then try it again, if it still mis feeds then you do have damage to the unit.

Repair would cost more then the printer in your case so I did recommend a newer printer fo you.

Laser jet printers are affordable and last longer the most inkjets in my opinion.

Your diagnosis:

Jammed feeder, or bad pickup roller.

Prognosis: Repair or purchase a new printer.

Thanks for using phone support,

We're trying to print on paper to make a tshirt transfer on the HP 3050 j610 but it keeps getting caught. Help!

T-shirt transfers are usually very thick paper in my experience. In the printer menu either on your computer or on the printer itself, try changing the paper type to card stock and see it that helps.

I am not sure what kind of transfers you are using, but I believe you need ones specific to laser printers if you are sending it through one. The transfers I have used are designed to seperate with the addition of heat (iron-on) and, as laserjet printers apply heat in order to bind toner to a page, inkjet transfers may separate prematurely, possibly causing damage to the printer.

Printing t shirt transfers

Hi,

I believe that printer does not support this option since it is using toner and toner printer has different technology where it creates electromagnetic reaction to paper itself and toner when printing . What you need is an inkjet printer. You can check Epson products and consumables and Kodak too.

Hope this helps
