One BTU is sufficient to heat about 55 cubic ft. of air by one degree Fahrenheit.

With good insulation, it's about 75 BTUs per sq/ft

With poor insulation, about 300 BTUs per sq/ft

This can be due to few issue and what could be checked by you is to look if the cassette is properly loading. Check if there is any objects blocking within the carriage. Also if the cassette hass any issues, try with another one.
Next check if the set is having condensation and so gives out the error message of a protect. So use a hair dryer into the cassette compartment and into the drum section.
Finally a fault in the servo or the loading can issue a fault condition.

most of no signal means dsr 11 or similar machines have dirty heads. When they get dirt sometimes, you can´t play a cassette and the machine turns off (with the cassette in).
I´ve tried several times to reload the cassette and I manage to make it work again.
with the cassette in and the machine off press at the same time power and fast forward.
When in fast forward press play and your head should be starting to be clean (takes 4 o 5 minutes
to get a clean picture). Normally the machine gives a code error like if it was a loading problem but
not nearly related

C32 error codes are usually cassette or tape transport related. Can you eject the tape? Try inserting a new tape to see if the fault is with the tape itself.

If this doesn't work, I suggest that you take your camera to a service centre.
