My Connect system does not recognize my iPhone. How do correct this?

1. First, Open up iTunes, plug in your iPod Touch/iPhone to the CPU's USB port. Turn on your CPU's speaker and make sure it is loud enough that you can hear it.

2. try again with 0000 or 1234 passcode, this usually the default code for any device.

turn the iPhone off, connect the cable to the computer, but do not connect to the iphone. Hold the home button and connect the iPhone to the computer. iTunes will recognize it in recovery mode. (You must have ipsw file) Hold shift and click restore. now look for the ipsw file, choose that file, and itunes will do the rest.

try uninstalling itunes and install it again. I'm sure it will help
