SOURCE: resetting the atomic clock to the correct time zone, and outside temp to work.

For the Sharp SPC374T Atomic Clock - Time Zone setting- Press the 'Time' button once, the time zone will show where 'Day' usually is, use the Up or Down buttong to adjust.

For the outdoor Thermo, credit to my neighbor for this one. Remove battery from main unit, wait 2-3 minutes. Reload batteries. Once you get a reading from the outdoor sensor, hit the reset on the main unit. You will have to reset the time zone as described above, but this worked for me after 10 months of no outside temp showing up!

Good luck,
Doc

I live in Kansas my settings says Chicago there are no time zone setting for Kansas

Shouldn't matter, you can use Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, etc to set the Central Time Zone. Most modern devices actually use GMT and convert based on a location provided.

How do I set the alarm on my Sharp Accu-Set Model SPC452?

  • 1 Insert batteries into your atomic clock. Without these the clock won't work. The number of batteries required depends on the clock. There is usually a panel on the back of the clock where you can insert the batteries.
  • 2 Set the clock. Usually, this is done automatically, as the clock will seek out and receive the signal within 6 to 8 minutes. If this doesn't happen, you'll need to do it yourself. Hold down the "Set" button. A figure on the clock will start blinking. Adjust this by pressing the adjustment button. Press "Set" again to go to a new time. Continue until the clock is properly set. No matter what you put time you put in manually, the clock should adjust to the atomic setting within 48 hours.
  • 3 Set the time zone on your atomic clock. How to do this depends on your specific clock. On some, there is a time zone slider; you simply slide it to your time zone. Otherwise, you will need to enter the manual mode you used to set the clock. Switch the mode until the time zone starts blinking. Now, adjust until your current time zone is selected. If it goes by Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), the time zones in the United States are -5 for Eastern time, -6 for Central, -7 for Mountain, and -8 for Pacific.

How do I change the time on my TIMEX T307S clock?

    Hello
    To adjust time follow this.

    Auto-Set Time and Date Settings

This model is equipped with the Auto-Set feature, meaning that the time and date have been programmed at the factory

and will already be set when you first plug the model in. Auto-Set will automatically adjust the time and date settings for

daylight-saving time and leap years. Auto-Set is programmed for Eastern Standard Time; if you do not live in this time zone,

you can easily switch the setting to one of six other time zones.

    1. To change your time zone setting, press and hold the 8 Time Zone Button. The current Auto-Set Time Zone in the

lower-right-hand corner of the display will flash for approximately ten seconds, after which the display will revert to the

    standard clock display.

    2. While the Auto-Set Time Zone is flashing, press the 1 Reverse and 6 Forward Buttons to select your time zone.

The display will show each zone's current time setting. There are seven zones to choose from:

    Auto-Set Time Zones

    Z-01 Atlantic Standard Time

    Z-02 Eastern Standard Time

    Z-03 Central Standard Time

    Z-04 Mountain Standard Time

    Z-05 Pacific Standard Time

    Z-06 Alaskan Standard Time

    Z-07 Hawaiian Standard Time

    3. Find your time zone, then press the 4 Enter Button or wait about ten seconds for the clock to beep twice and the

    setting to lock into place.

    Manual Time and Date Settings

    1. To change your time setting, press and hold the J Time Set Button so that the clock display begins flashing.

    2. While the display flashes, press the 1 Reverse and 6 Forward Buttons to set the time. Hold a button for a few

seconds to set the time rapidly. Be sure to set the correct AM/PM time, shown by the PM Indicator.

    3. After setting the time, press the 4 Enter Button or wait about ten seconds for the clock to beep twice and the setting

    to lock into place.

    4. To change the calendar, press and hold the 9 Date/7-5-2 Button until the display shows the flashing year.

    5. Press the 1 Reverse and 6 Forward Buttons to set the current year. When you have selected the year, press the

4 Enter Button, then use the 1 Reverse and 6 Forward Buttons to set the month/day.
    6. After you have set the date, press the 4 Enter Button or wait for the display to beep twice and lock into place.

is unsuccessful, select the PBS channel carrying
the XDS information, then turn the DVD/VCR off.
After 30 minutes, turn the DVD/VCR on.
    • If the clock is not set automatically, set the clock
    manually.

    STANDARD TIME (Time zone)

    • After making the auto clock setting, in some cases
the clock may display another time zone. You can
correct the clock by selecting your time zone
    setting above.
    • When the clock is not set or you set the clock
manually, the time zone setting is not available.
    DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME
You can set the clock to daylight saving time automatically
    or manually.
To select daylight saving time, select “DAYLIGHT
