Question about Health & Beauty
You will find it is flashing in groups of flashes.
Count the pulses and look up the fault code in your user manual.

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
Here's a link to this great service

SOURCE: when i load the software
As I was previously telling that there are two sub models in this category: S300 and S300M. The 'M' denotes for Mac. If you do not have this model your scanner will not work with Mac even if you install the correct drivers. These scanners do not use TWAIN drivers but use proprietary interface meaning you cannot use other drivers.
But there is a chance you may be able to make it work with Mac. Please let me know the version of your Mac and I'll see if can find some workaround.

SOURCE: Rascal liteway 3 will not
Red light flashing 7 times is likely caused by problem with the speed control dial. Most likely something is wrong with the contacts. This type of problem needs attention by the service centre nominated for Rascal scooters in your area.
Check this site for details.
Hope you are able to get it fixed soon.

SOURCE: I have a Liteway Rascal
as far as i can find out, this is part of the self diagnosing, fault finding system on newer scooters.
different number of flashes signifyiing different faults. i cannot find a specific manual for the rascal scooter, but on most scooters of this type 9 flashes is listed as "other internal fault, return to dealer for inspection"
this could cover absolutely anything. the only thing i can suggest, is that oyu check all of the electrical connections are clean and secure. make sure there is no obvious damage to any wiring, and that all of the control units, motor, and brake unit are clean and secure on the scooter.
there is very little else that a user can do to these scooters, other than returning it to the dealer for a full inspection.
dealers should be able to give you a free estimate of repair costs. and then it is up to you if you have it done or not. the only thing to be careful of, is that most dealers are just interested in selling new scooters, so they will try VERY hard to get you to buy another scooter rather than have your existing one repaired as they can make far more money this way. you will have to stand your ground to get a free estimate.
hope this helps
