SOURCE: Honeywell Wireless Personal Weather Station

Both units (transmitter and receiver) require two AA batteries. That solved the problem!

First thing to do is remove all batteries. After you do that, insert the new batteries into your receiver unit. After a few seconds, insert the batteries into first sensor (-> ch 1) After first sensor has connected (beep from receiver) insert the batteries into second sensor. SOURCE: Sharp Weather Station Model SPC344 The outside

After inserting the batteries, DO NOT set the time until the OUTSIDE temperature registers. That's the trick.

My Smart Gear STG-6007-BB weather station won't pick up the outdoor temperature from the remote sensor. I changed the batteries and reset the unit, but it still doesn't work. Any suggestions?

  • Remove all batteries
  • Install batteries in remote sensor. Allow time for it to begin sending temperature information
  • Install batteries in indoor unit. You should see temperature displayed
Cold weather can cause loss of temperature information

Outdoor temperature on indoor station showing - -.

Check the battery in the outdoor unit, resync them per the instructions, if that does not work check for interference.

Why is there a red blinking light on outside sensor? This is only 2 weeks old and new batteries were put in then.

The red blinking light, I believe is indicating the outside sensor is transmitting the outside temperature data to main weather station unit.

Remove new batteries from the indoor station. Carefully remove batteries from the remote sensor, then reinstall. Reinstall new batteries in the indoor station. DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING FOR AT LEAST 10 MINUTES. You should see the outdoor temperature displayed and can then proceed with other settings.

Auriol 4-LD3091 weather station will not pick up sensor

I had the same problem and gave up on the unit for a while, then I had another attempt and found this worked for me. Take the batteries out of both units (receiver and outside sender) then reinsert the batteries BUT put the batteries into the outside sender unit FIRST, this seems to make the difference as when you then put the batteries into the indoor base-station it detects the outside temperature signal immediately as it starts to set itself up .
