Kala Mistral error 19 is an encoder (motor’s internal hall sensor) error

Norine, if indeed 10% did laminate, In all probability it will wreck the poster try to remove it. I am not sure if it will work, could you run the poster through the laminating machine a second time.

sounds like the yellow and the orange wire connectors on the main board from the transformer are reversed. If not, then your main board needs replaced. I have them available, 405-324-6092, Scott,

Ordinarily, laminators have speed controls to allow the laminated substrate to get hotter.

First, you must take out 4 screws out of the cover on each side of the laminator , then you will see the screws that hold the back panel onto the laminator. West Laminating secs 405-324-6092

left hand side cover is probably off and excess light is getting onto the motor speed sensor. put the side cover back on and try it, most likely that will fix it. could also be the set screw on the right side is loose, error 1 means you have a speed problem. check gears and chain. only other part that has caused this in the past is the keypanel.
