The best thing to do is look on Ebay or Amazon for a docking station that has connections for a stereo receiver.

SOURCE: can the Kenwood KR-4600 connect

Actually it's the other way around.

For just listening, any audio device with a headphone/earbud output can be connected to any available analog Line Level input (except PHONO) with a simple adapter. They don't tell you that in the iPod manual because they want you to purchase expensive accessories like docking stations. You'll have to manage the music directly from the portable device.

Kenwood KR-V7080 reciever will not play through speakers.I can still plug headphones into the reciever and get audio but not through the speakers. Tested the speakers and they still work.

If the speakers used to switch off when the headphone plug was put in the socket, suspect the socket it goes into as being the trouble. It is clearly not connecting the speakers, when the headphone plug is removed.

My kenwood kr v1074 reciever doesnt seem to do the job of my other reciever.....my sub is connected threw the red and black ports tried em all and my speaker just remains low volume even if i have it full...

You shouldn't hook things up and guess how they work.

BTW "KRV1074" doesn't bring up a valid link anywhere in the universe except your request.
