SOURCE: palm tx

Fixed - Hotsync all your stuff to your desktop. Remove any cards, and do a cold boot (press reset while holding down power button)

Then synch everything back again. I'm never buying another palm again.

SOURCE: My HTC P4350 is running low on free storage space

The system have used nearly the maximum internal memory available: Storage: Total 33.45 MB; In Use: 32.80 MB; Free: 0.66 MB Program.

If you already deleted or moved to memory card your files, that means that the space is taken by installed application/games, or by files left over by previously installed applications.

Save all your files on computer and do a complete reset of the HTC, restoring system to factory settings.

My tablet keeps giving me error message. Insuficcant space on tablet to download apps

This means the internal memory is full and the only way to add apps is to uninstall other apps that you have installed. Check to see if you have apps you no longer use and uninstall them.

It wont reconize half my memory so it wont let me download apps

It has very limited memory allocated for apps. It only amounts to about 661 megabytes. The entire SD card shows about 5.5 gigabytes most of which will probably be available for whatever but not for apps. Apps can only be written to the small app partition.

The unfortunate reality is if you allow automatic updates from the Google Store to update the native apps, there will NOT be enough room for them all and you will get a *no more space available* error message. So, turn off automatic updates in Settings in the Store ASAP! If you install an external microSD card in the slot in the back you might be able to move some of your apps to it using the Apps function in Settings on your tablet. This will free us some extra space on the built-in SD card. But, unfortunately, the native apps can't be moved. But, some can be disabled and some you can delete the data and the cache. But, don't delete the data on the ones you use or all your mail, accounts etc will go away and you'll just have to set it up and download mail again.

How can i free up space in my system memory on my net10 android lgl35

In any Android phone you can go to:
Settings > Apps

And you will find a list of installed apps. In this list you can:

1. Identify apps that you don't want and remove them (if they are not system apps) - click on the app name and hit the button, "Uninstall"

2. Identify apps that are taking up space and move their storage to the SD card - click on the app name and hit the button "Move to SD card". Not all apps will allow this.

3. Remove cached and junk data from apps that hog memory - click on the app name and hit the button "clear cache" or "clear data". This will reset the app to a fresh install state and remove things like your progress is it is a game.

If an app cannot be removed but you don't want it running and hogging memory you may see a button "Disable" when you click on it. This will stop it running in the background and writing junk data to your phone's memory.

Hope these tips work.

How do you free up memory

There are quite a few ways to free up memory/space on your iPhone:

The first step would be to check what is taking up space on your phone. You can check out Settings > General > Usage and then check Storage.

After seeing what is taking up space, you could do any of the following to free up some space:

  • Try removing any apps you don't use.
  • Delete any videos you have already watched.
  • Save any photos from messages you've received and then delete the messages.
  • Backup your photos to a computer and then delete the photos in your camera roll.
  • Delete any music that may be stored on your phone.
  • Delete any voicemails you no longer need.

Hope that helps!

Lg optimus logic low system memory

Only some apps can be moved to the card. Here's how to check and move the ones that can along with some other tips for freeing up space in internal storage:

1.Go to the Home screen. Press Menu and tap Settings , then Applications, then All

2. Tap each app and tap "Clear Cache". Tap "Move to SD Card" if it's not grayed out.

3. If there are any apps that you've downloaded and don't use uninstall them. The phone won't let you uninstall system apps that are essential to the phone's operation. If you aren't sure if you need an app or not install ES File Manager (which can be moved to the card) and use it to back up the app to the memory card before deleting.

4. Open Messaging, if you have any picture messages, tap on the bubble containing the picture. Tap Save attachment. After the picture has been saved, tap on the bubble again and tap Delete message. Also delete any text messages you don't need.

5. If you use Gmail, open Gmail, tap Menu, then tap Go to labels, then Trash and delete everything in Trash. If you use a different email app delete everything in its trash folder.

6. Launch the Camera, press the Menu button, tap settings and make sure that "Storage Location" is set to "SD Card".

I recently purchased a 8GB sd card to expand the memory on my zio and it keeps saying that my phone is low on memory and it won't let me download anymore apps or recieve any incoming text messages. Yet...

Apps are stored internally and do not have anything to do with storage provided by the sd card. You are limited to 512MB of space for apps, texts, pictures, video, etc. The sd card storage space can be used to hold pictures, movies, songs.
To free up space, you can do a couple things. First, you can open the File Viewer on your phone and move any photos, movies or songs you've created/downloaded from internal to the sd card. Second, you can delete apps or text messages to free up space.
