Most likely backlight driver board. Plus check led's with tester when possible.

SOURCE: Hedge trimmer , mod.040090D 40350. Won,t start.. I pulled the plug, grounded the plug body, a spark should be seen at the plug gap., but instead a spark is seen from the plug body to ground, what wo

You will see a spark jump from the plug body to ground if it isn't tightly grounded to the engine. However a spark should also jump the gap in the plug at the same time. It can be difficult to check a plug this way because it tends to bounce around the place when pull starting the engine. You could try getting a bit of wire and clipping on end to the exhaust or fin on the engine with a crocodile clip, clothes peg or vice grips. The other end of the wire could be wrapped around the threads of the plug and held with a clip.

I have a Sanyo DP50843 it has back light and sound but no video at all I tried a new digital main board but is still the same ?

There are a couple of things that could cause this.
First you could have a failure in the power supply, we have seen some capacitors fail in your model and cause funky problems like this. If this is the case you could be looking at somewhere around $175-$200 to fix the set. IF the power supply had to be replaced you could be looking at $250-300

Pkg-rse2 screen is dim and can't see it

LCD is not affected by cold. This sounds like it is the backlight or the inverter that runs the back light. The back light causes the lcd to be able to be seen.

PLASMA TVS DONT HAVE INVERTER CIRCUITS. YOU MOST LIKELY HAVE A Y-SUSTAIN BOARD FAILURE. IT IS THE BOARD TO THE LEFT LOOKING FROM THE BACK. THE LARGE ALUMINUM HEAT SINK LOCATED ON THE BOARD AND THE PART SCREWED TO IT WILL BE THE DEFECTIVE PART.

You need to find out if the power supply is putting out 24vdc for the backlight inverter board, it can be that the inverter board has short circuits which will cause the 24vdc to go into shutdown to protect itself, you can disconnect the power cables to the inverter board to see if you will get the 24vdc back.

Have a Sanyo Plasma TV DP50747 and both picture and sound all of a suden went. I turned it on from the remote and the green power light goes on, but no picture or sound and the power light goes off again...

Hello,

Yep. The power supply in Sanyo Plasmas are generally prone to failures. It could be a failure in the panel not priming, but I doubt it. Turn the lights off in the room, then try to turn it on. If you see the screen faintly flash, the panel is priming, but it is not coming on. If the screen is lit, but is still "black," then it is a control or digital board. If it is totally black with no light at all, then it doesn't entirely rule out the first two, but makes a power supply failure more likely.

They usually have a lot of heat damage to them. If you have tried unplugging it for 15 minutes, then plugging it back in and it still doesn't work, the it is most likely a secondary in the power supply.

I hope this helps you...
