Hello KHAN

this is easy ,just simple math. (or touch of ohms laws)

NO PC stated, Nor monitors., maker and models.

no UPS stated. maker and model

each PC as a watts rating (we measure it)
then each UPS has total power rating
then there is RUN time.
what run time do you wish,? 1min. 1 hour, 1day? what?

the manual for your UPS covers this.
but if 10 PC used 100watts you need at least 1000Watt UPS.
10 times 100 = 1000 math.
but the run time will be short.
To gain run time longer, RTM read your UPS manual and read the page called RUN TIME at a given load in watts.

the whole purpose of a UPS is run time at a AC power blackout.

How do i connect my ups to my pc

Connect your PC power plug to the UPS, connect the UPS to the mains. Connect the usb lead from the UPS to your PC. Install the software on your PC. When you lose mains power the UPS will keep your PC alive long enough for an ordered shutdown.
I hope I have been of help but please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.

My new pc Dell Inspiron desktop has no modem built in for dial-up internet connection. Im currently subscribing to a dial-up service provider on another pc, how do I connect to the same dial-up service...

You have to configure Internet Connections Sharing on the PC which has a dial-up service.
1. Click Start - Settings - Control Panel - Network Connections, right click on dial-up.
2. Clik on Properties, click on Advanced tab.
3. Under Internet Connection Sharing, select the Allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection check box

After that you must connect the other pc to this one via network cable.
If you don'y have network adapters you have to buy them.

How do i hook a mac to a PC using the D-Link? I need help ASAP!

Hi, basically it really doesn't matter what sort of PC ya using... when ya connect up to the WiFi Router, the PC "Detects the SSID" (An SSID is just a unique name say.. My_WiFi) of said Router, and then with the "Remote" Computer, you simply look for, and then connect to, that network. The DHCP address server in the Router will automatically assign the "Remote" PC a WiFi address.. and from then on it doesn't really matter what any other Operating Systems the PC's are using as you are not actually connecting to them, per se, but rather conecting thru the WiFi Router to the internet. To access other PC's Windows "Files & Data" from a "Mac" & vice versa, is a slightly different matter.. but still easy to set up. The links below will be of assistance to you in setting it all up. www.macdevcenter.com/pub/a/mac/2002/11/19/mac_pc.html - 26k lifehacker.com/software/networking/connect-your-mac-to-a-windows-network-211108.php The best way to connect up a Modem & separate WiFi Router... is: Connect Modem to Router, Router to A "Main" PC, via Ethernet cable. (Router set to DCHP Server & assign an SSID) All Other PC's connect to the "WiFi Router". After setting up an "Unsecured Network" & when & after, it is all working. THEN one can set up WEP security keys for the WiFi network.
