This was bought new several months ago and I really liked it I have had MP3 players for years and this was the best so I would like it back
Hello Tom, control the battery, verify that it is charging, if you do not achieve
observe anything, remove the battery and clean the power contacts and contacts for the player's battery, reinstall and check if there are signs of operation
Also check the charger or replace it with another one of similar characteristics
Good luck with the tests
Greetings Franco Dosil

hiya I have a sony bean too and it does exactly the same thing as yours, if you havent sorted it out yet all you have to do is look under the usb flap and you will see a reset button, push it gentally with a pin, it will work agauin and you wont loose all your music, hope this helps
SOURCE: the battery will not charge. The player was bought 10 mnths ago
Test the voltage at the end of the power supply cord. perhaps the cord is broken or the power supply is dead. The output voltage should be listed on the adapter or by the DC input jack on the unit.
