SOURCE: Won't crank, relay good.

Fuse would be in the outside fuse box. Look for the one labeled starter. If you are not getting power to the starter, could be an ignition switch.

SOURCE: Yard man cuts off with PTO enganged and tractor in reverse

when you put the machine in reverse it engages a safety switch, the switch can be jumped out with a piece of elec. wire, or it can be removed and repositened where it will not come into contact with shifter

Testimonial: "I'm unfamiliar with machinery, a little more detail would have been nice. Overall, this was right on the money! The solution was extremely helpful!"

SOURCE: no reverse lights on 2000 grand am or shift out of park lock

try disconnecting the plug off the reverse light switch (on the transmission) and bridging out the 2 terminals and then see if your revers lights work if they do replace the switch

SOURCE: Cub Cadet Model LT1042 (2007) The reverse mode

Nearly all lawn tractors on the market are designed to kick the cutting deck out of drive when reverse is engauged.

This is controlled by a simple electronic microswitch which can be disconnected but I would advise to leave it as it is ;)

SOURCE: Reverse override button doesn't seem to change anything

The override button on your Yamaha isn't supposed to override reverse. It will only disengage the rev limiter while moving forward when you have the "Diff Lock" engaged. When this happens, you will see your speedometer change to zeros. If you want to override your reverse, you will need to rewire a few things. I found the info I needed at "grizzhopper.com" to rewire mine.

My horn is not working on my motorcycle .....what can i do..

Use a test light and check the power wire, if you have power at horn terminal check the earth side of the horn grounds. If no power at horn terminal check horn switch for power.
tip

Basic sensor testing 1/2/3 wire test don't presume it is the sensor.

There are three BASIC sensors,/ 1. wire that usually works off of ResistancesMORE or grounding./2.wier that sends a 5 volt signal.with a return signal to the computer./ 3.wire that has a 5 volt signal from the computer and a return data to the computer and the other weir is a ground.{ Always test using a digital volt oms. meter.}

Woke up to no hot water changed out both heating elements and both thermostats meter says wiers are hot checked breaker its got power still no hot water any suggestions

Water heater can test for power, but is only receiving 120V instead of 240V.
Test that upper thermostat is getting 240V across top two screws of thermostat.

Amp is getting power but its not playing

Checking wires doesn"t help unless you are checking them with a multi-meter. Amp needs 4 things to turn on. 1) 12volt power from battery, 2) 12 volt power from radio (remote turn on), 3) ground (solid ground to the chassis or the car free from paint or rust), 4) fuses on side of amp need to be good. If any of these 4 things don't measure up then fix them so they do. If all 4 are verified with the meter and still no lights then you might have a dead amp. If the lights are on but no sound, then there are many other things that needs to be checked.

How do you wier up a bench grinder

I would suggest (just from you saying you dont know wireing that well) you should have someone else do it. But if you are determined white to white black to black(or red) make sure you are grounded and check amp to make sure you have the right breaker. I think you should get someone to help you as electrical fires are #1 on home fires .
I hope I helped

the problem has to be wireing.checking with an ohm meter will not tell you for sure how much current the wier will carry so you need need to find where it starts and ends and disconnect bothe ends.put a jumper to ground in one end then hook a test light to your positive battery terminal, put in the other end of the harness and see if the light is bright or dim.

Kicker zx 1000.1 green light flickers and no sound

The first thing I would suggest is to check all connections to the amp and speakers, especially the ground. A loose ground can cause the problem listed. You can test this by temporarly running a ground from the amp to the battery neg. . If the amp fires up ok then that means your grounding point for the amp should be checked and cleaned and reattached firmly. If you have a meter(multitester) set it to ohms and check the impedances of the voice coils in the woofers. If one is cooked it may be shorted and tripping the amps protection. Always hook thing up with the sys off and then turn on and test.

Alternator not charging

Hi

If you have a volt meter, set it to volts and hold the negative probe to the alternator body and the positive to the battery positive. If you don't get battery voltage then the alternator isn't grounded and the probable cause is the main engine ground cable either breaking or coming loose.

Very best regards
