I noticed your question and I just experienced the same problem. Curious if you found the solution or not, since no one has posted one?
SOURCE: stoves 720ef fan oven cutting out
I confirm that you should get an oven thermometer as I did as my 720 wasn't behaving itself. Lakeland do one that works well and is not to expensive. I found that the fan oven was working ok but the top oven was way out, i.e. setting 160 on the dial produced 140 in the oven. The thermostat sensors for both ovens are located at the rear of each oven at the top right. They should be clear of all congealed fat etc and should be bright and silver in colour. If they are dirty this may cause them not to work correctly. Lakeland again do an oven cleaner that you paint on with a brush. It may take more than one go but it cetainly removes all the rubbish and may well restore the thermostat to near normal operation. When cleaning the sensors be careful of the thin wire from them as if this is damaged you will have to have a complete new thermostat.
(The oven cleaner works on everything inside the oven including the stay clean lining).
As a final thought is the cooling fan running when the oven fan is on as this may cause the oven to overheat?
Best of luck.

F3 usually means, that the oven temp. sensor is bad and one need to replace it.
The fact, that it's not heating tells me, the fuse in the back also needs to be replaced (requires pulling out).

The control board is bad. One of the relays has fused and you will need to replace the control board.
1.Press the "Clear/Off" button on the control panel to reset the oven. This will clear the lock setting and unlock the door.
2.Allow the oven to cool to room temperature to avoid turning the lock on again during this heating cycle.
3.Reset the oven to the temperature you require to finish cooking by pressing the correct temperature control on the control pad.

1.If your GE Profile microwave won't turn on, unplug it, then plug it back in. A power outage may have occurred due to a power surge. Check your home's fuses and circuit breakers.
2.Set the clock of your GE Profile microwave. Certain models will not operate until you set the clock. Select the "Clock" key and type in the correct time.
3.Hold down your microwave's "Off" button. You may have accidentally hit the control-lock feature on your GE Profile microwave. Hold down the "Off" button for three seconds to turn the lock off.
4.If the sensors of your GE Profile microwave are not working correctly, remove the food from the machine. If the sensors detect food-surface temperatures over 200 degrees Fahrenheit, it will not work properly until the area cools down.
5.Contact GE Support if you are unable to resolve the issue on your own. Call the GE Support hotline or browse the help library on the GE website. You can also schedule a service visit on GE's website.
