Either a burnt out drain pump or a blown main module, test pump first if it has a burnt smell try another pump sometimes the pump can blow the board so both can end up being replaced

SOURCE: have a fisher and paykel

Hi - A 703? quite an oldie - 132 is basically a comm error between the electronics & the drive system on the motor - if you wish to toto with it - be sure the plug is removed from the wall socket -
Tools required - Multimeter - a 5/8 socket - a 3/8 socket to remove the motor system.

After disconnecting the power & hoses etc - tilt on its back - take 5/8 and remove the rotor in the center is a plastic nut - remove and keep it away from metal surfaces its magnetic - take the 4 bolts off - carefully remove the stator (copper windings) on topside are terminals - make careful note as to where the wires came off - carefully place on a towel not to be damaged - check the terminals for corrosion etc - see if the wires are okay - breaks in it best use the multi to check for continuity - check the point where the harness connects to the small electronic (RPS) board for corrosion etc - lastly is the RPS in good nick?.

These are the symptoms for the error code you requested --

Nice weekend to you & have fun....

Fisher and paykel smartdrive 703 does not turn on. Power is going to unit OK, but no response with lights or beeping...was working fine...no warning signs of any problem

Firstly..unplug the unit for 2 minutes to see if it"ll reset.
Otherwise, UNPLUG Open the panel & make sure the power lead is plugged firmly in to the module & the display board is plugged in to the control module. Apart from that, there is not much else you can do except call someone in to test the control module to see if it is working.

Fisher Paykel washing machine Smartdrive 703 Advance, Power and Start buttons are non responsive when pushed. Is there a part that can fix this. Does the control panel have to be replaced?

Fisher & Paykel Smart Drive beeps and stops during rinse cycle. If I hit pause and wait and restart it eventually continues. It seems like it has problems detecting water level.
