Labels should only be printed through the bypass tray. when printing, go to "properties", "Paper" and change tray from "auto select" to "Bypass tray"

SOURCE: Smart Label Printer 240

Check your labels. Are there black "sensor marks" on the back of each label? That's apparently how the printer lines itself up.

SOURCE: An extra, blank label prints from a Zebra 2746e.

Check media settings in the printer driver. Check version of printer driver. Zebra printersuse an internal printer driver with their Zebra Designer software (Zdesigner driver) or a ZUD (Zebra Universal Driver) for other windows applications. These drivers can be downloaded directly from the zebra website.

Alternatively you can download the seagull scientific driver and use that instead. (used with bartender program)

Label skipping occurs if the media dimensions are not specified correctly. The important ones are label height, and media setting for type of media.

Perform a media calibration before you go changing settings. Power on printer, Hold top and bottom buttons in on control panel for 5 seconds, release bottom button only then when printer starts feeding labels release top button. When printer finishes press feed button.

SOURCE: 2844 UPS Printer Prints Duplicate Labels

The quick and simple answer is to use a different driver instead of the 2488 driver that UPS provides, that is where the problem lies..
Under printer properties, Advanced Tab, I changed the printer driver to Zebra S4MDT-200dpi and now the printer works fine. Prints labels correctly, and most of all only one label at a time... The drivers are there in the UPS software, just change which one you use and go...

I need drivers for smart label printer pro

It would help if you had mentioned the Operating system and model number

The official Seiko site is:
Software Driver Downloads

However, Seiko has deleted its legacy printer support so you may have to find your drivers on a third party site
SLP Related Drivers
SII Printers Drivers Download for Windows 7 8 XP Vista

Note: With Seiko Smart Label printers make sure your printer is not connected to your computer until the Seiko software tells you to.

Important tips when finding and downloading application/ driver software from non-OEM sites

1. Never install any application from a non-OEM site that says it will scan your computer to determine what files you need. - search using the manufacturer name, model number, and current operating system on the computer you want to install the device on.

2. Only install the files you found. Never download any software suggested.

3. When installing the downloaded files, always select Custom Installation to make sure you only install the software you need. In this case only the application and driver files, nothing else ( no driver updating, security scanning, toolbar, etc. programs).

What in the world!! I have the Smart Label Printer 450, it is not advancing the label, and the power button is flashing. It will not print a label at all at this point, and when it will end up printing a...

Unfortunately, this is usually an indication that the label roll in the printer are too old. This action is by design, compatible labels should have a black rectangle on the reverse side and the Smart Label printer uses the black rectangle to orient the label. This means your Smart Label doesn't think its wasting labels, it's just trying to run through what it considers to be unsuitable labels as fast as it can. If you're only printing one label at a time you can recover some labels by correctly the label's line up after each label you print but there's nothing you can do so that your printer will properly advance its current labels.

Remove the current roll, open a new boxed label roll, remove a sealed roll, cut open the sealed plastic, remove fresh label roll and load it in your Label Printer. Power the label printer back on and press the label advance button, it should correctly line up.

Can Cymo lables be used in the Smart Label Printer 100

If you mean Dymo labels and if the Dymo labels have a black rectangle on the reverse and if the labels aren't to wide, then the labels should work. You may run into problems with the Label printer advancing too far after printing; unfortunately, you will have to manually re-align the label after printing

Smart label printer 200 turns itself off while printing

I was able to fix the issue: I had an aftermarket power supply which I bought online. It was way cheaper, but was wasting my labels. Printer would shut off. Just go to Seiko USA website and buy the specific power supply from the manufacturer. I spent $22.50 plus shipping and total came to $30.00, but it was well worth it! Also, the letters are way darker and better than what I had coming out with the afermarket Power Supply. The link is below:
