Arrow #604 wide crown staples; they come in regular and heavy duty and several 'prong' lengths. The flat top must be 1/2" fo.r the TRE300

The size & code of staple is usually on the side of the tool , ie 80/ 14 means it takes an 80 series staple & max staple length it can take is 14 mm. Hope this helps

SOURCE: Stanley Pneu Roof Stapler Troubleshooting

Sorry for the delayed response, I just found this one...

The issue with depth is usually one of 2 things:

1) Insufficient pressure (bad regulator on compressor or incorrect setting).
2) Bad seals within the gun.

When was the gun last serviced? Have you looked at the O-rings for any signs of damage? All it takes is a little leakage of pressure and the plunger won't have enough thrust to set the staple as expected.

SOURCE: Stanley TR70 Manual Stapler won't accept Arrow 1/4" staples

It sounds like you have a light duty stapler and are trying to use heavy duty staples. 1/4" refers to the length of the legs not the thickness of the actual staple. You probably just need light duty staples.

SOURCE: How do the staples stay in place in my stanley 1/4" stapler? They slide back and forth and therefore aren't in place for the stapler to work?

There should be a pusher that is attached to a spring. If the spring broke, or the pusher is missing the staples will not stay in place.

If you can locate a model number on the tool, you go to bostitch.com to find the parts you may need

Can the STANLEY 300 ELECTRICAL STAPLER take ARROW staples?

No, the TRE300 will require a wide crown staple. The staples that will work with the TRE300 are the TRC600 series( TRC604T 1/4" TRC605T 5/16" TRC606T 3/8").

"Was given a master mechanic TRE 300 power stapler - please tell me where I can get staples to fit this tool."

It is actually made by Stanley and has a Master Mechanic badge on it.

The Stanley TRE300 stapler and it's staples have been discontinued and are no longer available. However, the Sears brand extra wide crown staples will fit this stapler.

How much nails for tre300

Hi!
The Stanley TRE 300 is an electric stapler/nailer.
It will accept 1/4" 5/16", 3/8", 1/2" & 9/16" staples and 1/2" & 5/8" brad nails. How much? Depending on the size of nails or staples.
BTW it's a great little machine :)

The spring has come out and we don't know where to put it

The Spring keep the Staples against the Stapler driving tool. Normally there is a metal pad to push against the staples, a rod that goes thru the Spring with a metal latch that locks inside the Stapler.
