Is there a source for buying hard to find transistors by the piece and not a minimum order?

You mentioned replacing the dual shottky diode pkg with discretes. not sure about that, the srf1015 and 1050 are side by side on a aluminum heat sink. How would that apply to this setup? I did find that the manufacturer of these transistors is the Taiwan Semiconductor manufacturer. Their minimum is about 2 or 3 thousand parts. I think your contact info may be able to supply what I need. I appreciate your info and effort. I would like to know more about your idea of replacing the dual shottky. 10A 50V Schot Barr Rect, axial lead rated to 125C no heat sink req. Two of these instead of the dual in a single 202 pkg. You'll have to wire and solder together. See image for general idea.

You may not have physical room, and I don't know any special restrictions, i.e. contract agreements (especially government) that could disallow this solution.
