So my proscan tv buttons are not working. Sometimes I can turn it on but the other buttons won't work at all. Any ideas please? Can't afford a new TV or expensive repair man, please help.

Hello, please check how many times the red light flashes. If it is 3 times this means that the lamp cover is not fastened securely. If the red light flashes 5 times this means that the lamp driver is defect. If you need more help please advice

The PS50700 uses the 195 series chassis. The most common cause of the set not starting up is a shorted flyback (high voltage) transformer. Sometimes a shorted flyback will also cause the horizontal output transistor to short too. These parts need to be tested and/or replaced by a tech familiar with the RCA 195 chassis.

replace the small 5G5A125V fuse in the back where the power cord connects the to chip

the light blinking six times indicates a probable horizontal circuit failure usually a shorted horiz out transistors but this is not the only component located in this circuit that could create this problem, sorry but i am affraid you'll need to get a tech to diagnose it to the component level or get another pc board to repair it. hope this helps some.
