SOURCE: Outdoor transmitting

These devices have a limited range, normally 20-30' (~6-9m) and that range is influenced by the material that separates them. Any metal structures in their path can shorten the useful range. Also, I think all of these transmit only a second or two every few minutes to conserve battery power.

SOURCE: My indoor outdoor thermometer is only displaying

often removing the batteries in both units will reset. replace batteries in indoor unit firs, let it settle down then insert batteries into outdoor unit. There may be a button on outdoor unit to initialise the connection.

Alternatively you might find the manual here or get the instructions from their support.

How do I get the -- away and get the outdoor temperature to work?

You may have to "reset" it by removing both indoor and outdoor unit batteries, waiting briefly, then reinstalling batteries in the outdoor unit followed by the indoor unit. After awhile, the outdoor unit should begin sending information to the indoor unit.

My outdoor temperature shows three lines I have change the battier as manual said, but it didn't help? Do you sell replacements?

Fixya does not sell anything. The replacement batteries in the outdoor unit could be defective or installed incorrectly. The battery replacement procedure in the instructions must be followed exactly, i.e., batteries replaced in the outdoor unit then allowing time for the outdoor unit to begin sending data before installing batteries in the indoor unit to get an external temperature readout.

The order of replacing batteries is important. The outdoor unit batteries first, then the indoor. You wait 10 minutes until the outdoor unit starts sending data.

According to instructions for similar systems, you have to replace batteries in the outdoor unit first, then the indoor unit and wait 10 minutes without pressing any buttons for the indoor unit to begin displaying the outdoor temperature.

ONLY SHOWS INDOOR TEMPERATURE DOES NOT SHOW OUTDOOR TEMPERATURE

I have a similar device and the instructions say to remove batteries from both units and wait for 10 minutes without pressing any buttons before installing batteries first in the remote unit then the indoor unit. The outdoor and indoor units have to "talk" to each other before getting in the mood to display temperatures.
