If it is a S&W, you will have to call them. They were sold on the M&P 15-22 Sport as part of a promotional package.

SOURCE: can you still use

I don't know what good it will be if the cross hairs are broken. You would be better off with iron sites. I would be looking at a new scope if I was you. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: Bought Malibu model 8310-2921-08, it doesn't have the power pack instruction sheet, so I really don't know how to use the power pack, please help.

Malibu 8300 appears to be a low voltage lighting fixture.
You might have the digital power pack???

Son just bought me a Bushnell Banner Dusk&Dawn 4 Plex, Mil-dot, 3-9x50E. Just looking for an explanation on all the marking on the reticle (inside of the scope) I understand the cross hairs and how to...

Simply put, the Mil-Dot is a way to estimate range with the scopes reticle. This type of reticle was developed for military applications. The space between the dot centers is equal to one milliradian (Mil). hence the name mil-dot. One Mil equals 3.6" inches at 100 yards, or 36" at 1,000 yards. To use this system effectively you must know the size of the target. For instance most people are an average of 6 feet tall or 2 yards. The formula used for determining range to the target is (size of target x 1000 divided by number of mils the target covers). Hope this helps FixYa up.

My name is james and I recently had bought a new bushnell rimfire scope for my ruger ten twenty two. I had used the scope and began to sight it in. I was adjusting the sights then looking through the scope...

You backed it off too far and the alignment screw came out of the internal guide. They are usually pretty close to accurate when they are released from the factory. Make sure your mounts are in proper alignment and tight before trying to sight it in. 1 click is normally 1 inch at 100 yards.

I'm sure this will sound stupid, I just bought a rifle with a Tasco red dot scope on it and have no idea how to activate the scope. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks

No, that doesn't sound stupid. It's always a good idea to get all the information before using firearms and their accessories, and I'm happy to help:

The large knob on top of the scope is the rheostat, which is used to turn on the red dot, and adjust the brightness. It can be adjusted from "1" (dimmest) to "11" (brightest). You'll have to be looking straight down the scope to see the red dot, since it is only visible when you're aiming. If you turn on the scope to the brightest setting, and you look through like you are aiming, and the red dot is still not there (or very dim) then you probably need to replace the battery. It uses a 3 Volt coin-style lithium battery, type 2032. Unscrew the battery compartment on top of the rheostat and put the new battery "+" side up. Then replace the battery cover, and you should be good to go. Turn off the scope when you're done to save the batteries.

Since you bought the rifle with the scope already installed, it's probably already sighted in, or pretty close to being sighted in. Adjusting the windage and elevation on the red dot scope works just like other rifle scopes. The knob on top moves the point of impact up/down, and the knob on the side moves left/right. For this model, each click of adjustment moves the point fo impact by 1/2" at 100 yds, 1/4" at 50 yds, or 1/8" at 25 yds.

Be safe, and have fun!

I got in a tight spot needing a scope last season. I was very short on cash so i bought a 3-9x 50mm cheap Tasco . I sighted it in at 100 yards. I missed the first deer . Two hours later I shot high on...

well one day you may lurn that cheap is cheap! and tasco is rubbish cheap! i would say without dought the cross hair in the scope has shaken apart,,,due to recoil,,,a 30-06 has a big recoil
try holding the rifle stock on your jaw and firing the rifle off?
when or if,, you wake up in hospital with a shaterd jaw and with no teeth left in it you will know then! and cheap tasco scope is an air rifle scope it cant take 2500ft/lbs of recoil???
so it wont take much of a kick to mess it up,,
i put one on a 303 enfield??? i got 3 shots before it fell to bits!
if your going to buy cheap scope's go for nicon gold crown?

Scope wont shoot good groups

That can get expensive, I had the same problem, bought a Bushnell scope and it went everywhere but on the target, couldn't hold it steady, with my win mod 70 in 308 with heavy barrel, I said that's it, I went and bought a Leupold, no problems since. I don't know what was wrong with the Bushnell, just couldn't handle the blast I guess. I put he Bushnell on my bolt action 223 and haven't had a problem with it, but always expect one because of what happened before. I don't remember the model number, but it was a 3x9. Hope this helps.

I put a nikon scope on my new model 7 260 cal.and have bought factory ammo, and loaded no less than 150 rounds of different loads.i can't shoot a group even close to what i want.i have a nikon on my 700...

There are a multitude of reasons why you can't achieve your required group. Factory ammo is excellent now days, and I know a person who consistently groups under 1 inch at 100 yard using only a sling as an assist. Do you take your scope on and off, this will upset its ability to perform. When attempting your grouping, you do use a rest? Have you had the head space of you bolt checked. How old is the barrel, and how many rounds have been through it. What is the length of the barrel.
I am assuming your model 7 is a Remintong Sporting rifle. As good as their write up is, they are not known for high MOA accuracy, but still very good for hunting. The reason I know this is I help a lad sight in his Remington 700 .308 and the best we could get out of it at 100 yards was two and a half inches. Any way, I have given you plenty to think about, mull over it and all the best, I do not think your problem is your scope.
