Baby lock companion 6500 will not come on seems there is no power. Whst could be the issue. Thought maybe the electric jack and plug.

Sewusa claims to have the manual for $10 plus shipping. See http://www.sewusa.com/Sewing_Machine_Manuals/Babylock_Manuals/BL_1550_Instruction_Manual.htm . This other site, http://www.sewingmanuals.com/Sewing_Machine_Manuals/babylock.htm , also claims to have the manual.

Unfortunately, Babylock no longer has the manual for the Companion 1550 (BL1550) for download. It's unlikely that any Babylock dealers will have the manual. However, dealers will often provide manuals if they have them for a small fee.

You can check with a Baby Lock dealer an online sewing machine parts vendor, or even eBay. However, it may be difficult to find a manual for your machine due to its age and perhaps even less chance of success for finding a free manual.
