You should not need any driver for a camera.
When camera is connected via USB cord Windows will simply recognise a new device or drive and you will see it in 'My Computer.
Also Windows camera and scanner Wizard should come up and ask what you want to do with the images.

choose the free user download..it will charge in about a minute ....

Check the camera specifications for power connector, most of the cameras use 3.7V battery which can be easily charged from usb cable,
