I have a Visio E65-E0 that has this issues with the screen that I am hoping somebody could point me in the proper direction to fix. Every so often, the entire screen starts to slowly blink from full black to normal display. The sound never goes away. So I have completed the unplug, reset, holding buttons down and reset and sometimes it helps but the problem always returns. What I have done this far, pulled the back cover and resetting all the plugs/ribbon cables to no avail. What seems to make it stop; simply going to menu stops the pulsing, changing the display options sometimes helps. I haven’t tried the ‘flashlight test’ as I just read this earlier to try that to verify it’s just the backlighting and not the video. Any suggestions? Which board controls the backlighting? I snapped pics of the boards inside while I had it apart just in case I needed to order one of these to fix. Any suggestions or thoughts would be appreciated. You need to replace the 1000uf capacitors on the DM board thats the classic symptom of the DM caps being bad the light continues to blink repeatedly. If you need more info on the repair let me know.

Do not buy 0.5Amp fuses.
please read the marking on the fuse before you order your part.

The 0603 size is the appropriate size ... on that you are all correct.
IEC has standardized the markings on SMD fuses!!!!! They are as follows:

Cooper/Bussman, Littelfuse, Panasonic, Shurter, Vishay/Beyschlay have all standardized their markings on their SMD fuses (IEC compliant).

so if you order please make sure you get one from any of these manufacturers or that their SMD fuses are IEC compliant. Their markings will be the same for the rating of the SMD fuse you want to replace.

In summary, for a DS Lite with F1 and F2 with an "H" marking buy an
0603 size, 1amp, fast blow fuse
Lead free? or not? ... thats up to you.
