I bought the toaster oven November 2018 and the timer will not work. I turn the knob to the minutes I want but it just turns back to off when I let go. What can I do?
Most ovens have twelve months warranty , if so you can have it repaired for free, if not covered a electric repair shop should be able to repair it , first get a written quote as the cost could be more than a new item.

I would suggest calling Kitchenaid Customer Service. They would be able to replace that broken timer knob for you at no cost.

You *can* order parts from the manufacturer directly, but good luck
with that. The first time I called, and mind you their 1-800 # is a
quagmire of numeric menu selections before you ever get to talk to
someone, they said they would be happy to send me one but they were
out/backordered and that I should call back in 2 weeks. Instead of
putting me on some kind of list and sending me one when they got
more...Grrr! Then I tried calling back and made it, again, through the
menu maze only to find out they are in Eastern time. Super
frustrating!
But I also discovered that the flat head screwdriver is the best
temporary solution until I can get my hands on a replacement knob!
