Quite possibly the sockets you put the deck is not designed for the playback of phono signals. They should be marked "phono". Other issues are earth connections.
There are 2 rows of RCA connectors on the back of this TV. If you are looking at the back of the TV, on the right side you'll find the connectors. On the bottom row, left most RCA jack is the Video in for the Component video. on the top row, the right 2 connectors are for Audio connections. we put the Yellow plug from our Wii into the bottom row video connector, and the red and white RCA connectors into the top row plugs.
This enabled us to connect the Wii, and play games.
first the laser may be dirty. you can find lens cleaning disks at any cd store. But have you recently bought a new pack of cds? Sometimes certain CDs just simply dont work with some players. No reason for it they jsut dont work. You could also be using the wrong type of cd, CD+R vs CD-R
When you turn on the unit the cd draw seams to open. I hear it making a noise like if it is trying to get ready to play. When you shut the draw it won't play, change tracts, or the disc thing to put in more disc wont work. Someone please help me
First step is trying to do a firmware upgrade from RCA.COM. Go to the support page and look for your Lyra by model. Let us know if this corrects the problem.
