Hello,
the problem is probably with the seals of the coffee machine's plunger. This mechanism, which is taken out of the coffee machine in the off position, has 2 seals that must be periodically lubricated.
Probably this is your problem.
greetings
I'm not sure about your specific machine, but in general:
Make sure you have the correct size and shape filter, measure carefully so as not to overfill, check that the grind is not too fine and plugging the filter. This can cause the filter to overflow and grounds float into the pot.

The Blue LCD display on my DeLonght Prima Donna has failed - how do I get it fixed?
SOURCE: have a delonghi Prima Donna 6700 coffee machine and get this message
Hi there coffee person.
Have you tried disconnecting the machine from the power supply. As well as that check if there are enough coffee beans in the bean in the compartment and enough fresh water in the water tank. Not only this but is the compartment with the coffee "tablets" - full or empty. Fill or empty accordingly. Connect to power again, if the machine does not work the only advice have from here is "to clean the machine" as described in the manual or as you are used to.
Good luck
