I would suggest Steam, it is a gaming platform client where you can buy games at pretty good prices and they also have free games. My favorite games that I currently own are Half Life 2, Minecraft, Counterstrike Source, Portal 2, and Half Life 2 Episode 1.

could be your video card can't handle the graphics! the game box should have a listing of minimal and optimal video and ram requirements. if the game has a 'set-up' option, try lowering the frame-rate and/or video resolution settings. won't look as good, but may still be playable! good luck!
You must upgrade your graphics/video card. you can see the games requirements on the games box. Find a video card that has enough RAM and make sure it is compatable and your games will play fine. Also good to have at least a couple of GB of RAM for your CPU too, and a good processor wouldn't hurt either. It all depends on how much money you want to spend. Upgrade your video card and they will work though. Good luck.

This particular problem, need a particular atention, some games show this problem, when the Video Card is not supported, or video driver, is not updated. you should see if your version of drivers, are updated, and Direct X to 9c. according with recomendation on the game programming. (time to change to a good video card) or download any update for this game sometimes should fix problems.
