SOURCE: Hayward H300 heater runs but will not heat water

Your internal by-pass could be stuck open or the disc could be worn to the point of letting water pass too fast. Or your thermal control valve could be stuck open. These are both found in your water header going into the heater. Hope this helps, good luck.

Hello, I have a Hayward pool heater Sum heat S3, there is water leaking at the point at which the copper pipe enters the PVC water pipe, does this mean the refrigerant has leaked as well? Thanks

As far as I know, refrigerant is not used in the heating of pools and spas. Sounds like it is just a connection leak and can be fixed by redoing the joint connection.

OP error code. What is wrong with my Hayward pool

OP is the error code for a faulty Temperature Sensor. Try replacing the Temperature Sensor. I have seen many of these units have the wires chewed up by mice, etc., so you may want to check the wiring for any damage.

My hayward pool heater is displaying P5 and the fan is not moving. what does this mean?

You heat pump is actually displaying "PS" for Pressure Switch. Either there is not enough water flow or the switch could be bad. If you have a sand filter, put the filter head in the "bypass" mode and try again. If the heater works, filter problem. If not, heater problem.
