My christie projector is not powering on ,the Orange power light only changes to green for a second and it goes back to the Orange power light. Pls what is the likely problem?

Hey zrscott388, did you end up replacing the bulb and did that fix it? My Z1 is doing the same thing. I hate to spend 300-400 on a bulb and it doesn't work. The Z5 is going for 1100 new on Ebay. I rather do that than waste money. Please let me know.

try pressing and holding the enter button on the projector for about 30 seconds - this resets it. It worked for me!!

Thanks. NEC did not have a solution for us, but the solution for us was to replace the bulb. You'd think they would make that a bit more obvious!

This same thing happened to me, I removed the bulb and put it back in, it reset something and I was able to use the projector again.
